The restaurant used to be good, but the last time I went there because of a change of chefs, I felt that my level has dropped a lot.
The hotel rooms and bath products are very good. Open the balcony door and go out to the swimming pool. The swimming pool is not big but it is better than you can see the sea."

"Por lo general está bien el hotel, tiene un pequeño gimnasio, piscina cuando es verano, el restaurante para comer estuvo muy muy bueno, muy buena atención y calidad precio muy bien, el desayuno estuvo bien, si tuviera que decir algo sería que en el desayuno pusieran una pequeña explicación de lo que viene, quizás hay cositas que uno no come por preferencia e intolerancia y sería más fácil escoger,yo pondría un único zumo y que fuese natural no necesariamente naranja y centr**** en la calidad del pan, pequeños detalles que hacen, el servicio fue muy muy bueno y amable y la cama muy cómoda."

"The hotel is a bit out of the way from the center of Barcelona, but you can take the R1 from the train station, which is about a 15-minute walk, to many of the main sites and attractions. Matarò itself is a beautiful corner and really worth seeing.
The equipment of the room is rather simple: a simple hair dryer, towels, soap, shampoo and a small TV with local channels are available. All employees including cleaning staff are very friendly and always available and helpful. The doors of the hotel are so ”locked” after 00:00 that one can only enter by ringing the bell. The door is always opened quickly, so you don't have to wait long"

"I decided to stay here because I wanted to rest before my trip to Barcelona. It's about an hour's public transportation ride to Barcelona.
The ocean was nice and the hotel was clean, but the soundproofing was so bad that I kept getting surprised every time I opened the door next door because I thought it was my room.
And there were mosquitoes, so I asked for mosquito repellent, but they didn't have any.... I got bitten and bled ㅜㅜ"

"The breakfast was very good.
The room was ok.
The bathroom was DISGUSTING: the door did not close because of the humidity, it was all swollen. The door lock was decorative because it did not even have a hole for the lock to come out. The water from the shower did not filter and it accumulated completely. The walls had black FUNGUS. They have not cleaned those walls for months."

GGuest UserA short stay for of 2 days was booked with Triip.com for one adult and 2 children under 10, to join us who were booked in a day earlier for three days. Our three day booking was direct with the hotel, half board. The hotel is marked 'adults recommended' and they sure discourage children, by seeking to charge per occupancy rather than simply on a cost per room. The Trip site quite fairly offered the room at the rate for two adults, with children under 12 free, so this is what was paid. Half board was added but at the rate for two adults, which would be greater than the actual hotel rate for one adult and two children, but I was happy to have reserved restaurant secured.
Things got messy at check in, the hotel insisting that the room was occupied by three 'persons' as they put it and should therefore be 50% extra, though the room was the same type as the twin we had for two adults. The Hotel also insisted that only breakfast was provided, and tried to argue that the B2B rate from the third party (Trip) was insufficient. I politely pointed out that the discounts provided to third party agents was no concern of the customer, and referred to my booking voucher which clearly stated I had booked a twin room, into which was going 1 adult, two very small children, and that breakfast and dinner was paid for, with the rate for 1 adult being greater than twice the local charge for a child. They were impossible to deal with, and I left the reception angry and upset. I contacted the Trip representative and by that evening it was sorted. Full marks to Trip, zero to the hotel.
As for our stay, the hotel is excellent, but with room to improve. Dinner in the Buffet only commences at 8.00, resulting in quite the bunfight if the restaurant is busy. It was on that Thursday, a national holiday, and it was impossible to order wine and beverages after we seated, with a single service person taking orders. We ate our food dry, and finally placed an order for wine and water while eating dessert, some 40 minutes after seating. The same bottleneck occurred the next morning at breakfast, with the four snail paced Nespresso machines totally incapable of dealing with the coffee demands. Worse, all 4 machines overheated and went into 'service mode'. Worse again, these obviously unsuitable barista machines were the only source of hot water for Tea or infusions, but with no seperate hot water dispenser faucet. You had to stand for almost 2 minutes while the machine slowly dispensed through the coffee outlet, a single mug of hot water, to the frustration of the queue behind. This needs sorting, it took ages to get a breakfast beverage every morning, and on the second day I had to return 4 floors to my room and fill my cup from the in room Nespresso maker. I'd advise to bring a travel kettle with you.
Otherwise, a fine hotel, but the restaurant problems and discriminatory pricing for children are an issue, so not a hotel for children.

GGuest UserThe staff are very friendly ＜3 We arrived really late as it was quite further location from the airport, but we felt very welcomed as soon as we walked in. The cleaning staff cleaned and made our bed every day and I had no complains! They were very helpful when we came to ask about transportation. The city itself was beautiful and we really enjoyed our stay :))

GGuest UserMy pillows stank of sweat I had to use a T-shirt as a case. Couldn’t get the safe to work, couldn’t get the phone to work. The pool was very cold, could have been heated. Positives, food was great, amenities for families is good. Nice pool bar which provided drinks and food. Also nice play area near the bar. receptionists could have been a bit more friendlier

GGuest UserApartment hotel is quite aged , simple design and basic facilities that can accommodate the needs of a family, has little kitchen with fridge and to! Room just bed and small wardrobe, not luggage racks or other furniture. Bathroom was big enough and very simple !
But I think so appropriate for the receptionist guy who is professional and so polite to us for helping everything that we asked for , even thought checking out the timetable schedule for us when the airport bus to Barcelona airport to make sure we didn’t miss the bus!

La habitación que nos dieron tenía buen tamaño, aire acondicionado, colchon y almohada un poco duros, a mí me gusta asi, armario ropero grande, baño con bañera, TV pantalla plana y terracita con mesa y dos sillas con vistas a la calle. Servicio de menú desayuno, bocadillos, bikinis, hamburguesas, pizzas, platos combinados, comida hindú, también tenían bebidas de todo tipo y cocktails, tenían hasta Shishas con diferentes tipos de sabores, todo a precios económicos para ser un hotel.
