Oasis of peace and tranquility in hot Margilan Beautiful colonial style house, with a wonderful courtyard where you can drink a chai and relax in the shade after a walk in the huge Margilan bazaar. Nice and comfortable rooms, excellent beds. Standard breakfast.

I can only highly recommend this wonderful guesthouse. The beautiful courtyard is fantastic and the best place to relax and enjoy the tranquil atmosphere. The staff is very nice and helpful. The rooms were good and comfortable. We unfortunately only stayed one night but it was one the highlights of my Uzbekistan travels.

Ikathouse is a perfect place to stay and relax in Margilan after visiting bazar and the silk factory. The location is in mahalla zone where you will experience peace and quiet. There’s also an open air tapchan sitting area in front of the garden where you can even take a nap. The busy Anor Pomegranate Family Cafe Restaurant is just 10 - 15 minutes walk or 3 minutes by taxi. The nearest store is 1 minute walk. The guesthouse’s art and its very original exterior/interior design is absolutely breathtaking and is a must see and experience it’s great hospitality.

Finding accommodation in margillon is tad limited, since there isn't much to do/look in the area, but I read LP's recommendation for this place and I'm so glad iI took it. I arrived by train from Tashkent, not knowing how to get to the guest house from the train station, but thankfully I asked whether it's possible for them to pick me up from the station, and they said yes! without a fee! Entering the guest house felt like, well a house, and the decor is top notch! floor to ceiling covered in decorations. They have a little gazebo in the garden that you can lounge on, and the service was also phenomenal, i had a little dinner with fellow solo traveller and the owners of the the guest house. We shared stories, laughter and brotherhood, just like how the Uzbek's culture intended. They also help me finding a shared taxi to Kokand last minute, so overall, a really enjoyable experience staying here. Couldn't recommend them enough.
