We stayed her before and absolutely love the hotel and our suite. The view is unbelievable and the staff wonderful. Access has a lot of steps so it is not for the faint hearted or those with walking difficulties but for the rest it is wonderful. Had a lovely dinner but there are also great restaurants in Gandolfo.

The hotel has potential to be one of the best but it wasn’t for me. The decor is just not great, the microscopic TVs in the rooms, the floor and no pool? Rather odd. The breakfast had to be the biggest disappointment. They need to learn about the hospitality industry because I’m not what that was. 5/10 and the 5 is because of the lake.

Location outstanding. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. We had a suite and it was excellent although the bathroom needed refurbishing which they said they were doing over the next few weeks. Very good value. We also had dinner one evening and enjoyed that too.

An amazing place, with a breakless panorma to the lake Albano in front of you actually, with an eclectic restaurant design, with very nice and clean rooms. Also the staff is very kind. I strongly reccomend the place. Un posto stupendo, con un panorama al lago Albano che ti lascia senza fiato e che si trova appunto davanti a te, con un ristorante con un design eclettico, stanze carine e molto pulite ed il personale molto gentile. Raccomando forte questo posto.

What a beautiful place! A nice room, good breakfast and friendly service, a beautiful garden area with a great view to the lake. If you have limitations in movement then I can’t recommend this place.

This place is the synonym of magic. It is situated on the edge of an old volcano with a lake in the center. On the other side of the lake is the Pope’s summer residence. Watching the sun play in the lake is mesmerizing. The hotel is gorgeous and the interior is classy and pleasing to the eye. We had dinner at the restaurant and the food, the wine and the service is 5 star worthy. When the weather is warmer you can sit outside in the garden and enjoy the surroundings. A must visit if you are in the neighborhood.

The website said it was 4 star with all facilities you would expect. Sadly this is all false. The rooms are nice the views are nice and the one or two staff they have try to help. However it is not a 4 star hotel. There are no facilities no restaurant no bar no coffee shop no opportunity to help yourself to anything and no reception - you have to call the member of staff by phone. If you don’t have a car you are totally stuck. No possibility of walking anywhere as the road is dangerous. Taxis few and far between, unreliable and very expensive.

What a beautiful place to spend a vacation! A pieceful spot with a beautiful lake view (Lago Albano and Castel Gondolfo). Nice and friendly staff. You need to have a car. The traffic is very busy and the roads are narrow.
