Perfect place for 4 of us for 8 days. We are particular about were we stay and hit the jackpot at Rafikis. Comfortable, clean and everything worked. Bush themed house with everything you need including Betty, the most brilliant house keeper you can imagine. Nothing was too much trouble for her including finding and bring the 7 Marloth resident zebras to the house for a feed. 2 mins walk thru the garden and you are at the crocodile river. Every evening on the porch, we had resident bushbaby come for bananas, giant kudu/ warthog/wildebeest/ bushbuck all attending for hand feeding ( had 20+ animals in the garden one evening). From the fireplace, Heard the grunts of the hippo, trumpeting of the elephants and even had a lion's roaring punctuate our sleep. Explore the restaurants ( esp the one st Henk van rooyens place..wow) if you don't feel like a braai..Great to meet the locals, find secret viewing spots and swop animal stories. Will certainly be back..can't find any possible reason not to. Well done Gerda and Betty

Amazing animals, good size house, lovely swimming pool. Expensive compared to other similar properties in Marloth park. Unfortunately, constant harrasment from owner during and after stay warrants poor review. Location not ideal for any of Marloths amenities and near the rubbish dump, which you can smell when the wind changes. Price of property does not include cleaning lady, which owner insists you have at an extra cost. Will use other properties for future visits.
