The Hillock Residences

Vraiment déçue de hillocks résidence qui ne tient pas du tout ses promesses. Seule la piscine est correct. L’appartement et l’immeuble sont loin d’être récents! Il est vrai que l’appartement est grand pour 6 personnes , les chambres et le salon sont spacieux . Par contre , le confort n’est pas au rdv. Appartement sans lumière, la fenêtre était « branlante » , limite à tomber à chaque fois qu’on l’ouvrait . La vaisselle était insuffisante, 3 couteaux pour 6 ! Et surtout pas du tout d’extérieur . Les balcons sont étroits , impossible d’y mettre une chaise …. Bref il y a tellement d’appartements que certains sont certainement très bien , est une loterie et nous n’avons pas eu de chance . De plus la piscine n’est ouverte que de 9h à 19h dommage avec la chaleur , il serait agréable d’en profiter un peu plus longtemps. Bref, ce n’est pas une adresse de rêve ! Ne pas réserver pour plus de 2 nuits car c’est tout sauf idyllique . Donc je ne conseille pas cette adresse.

A short walk from the harbour, restaurants, shops and bars, so location is perfect. The apartment itself was spacious. Plenty of storage in the bedrooms with the fitted wardrobes, and all the necessary kitchen appliances, including a dishwasher and a washing machine in the shower room were in tip-top condition. The patio terrace also gave us some great additional space to relax in. The swimming pool was clean and well maintained, and the apartments provided both bath and beach towels. Although there was a cloth, two toilet rolls, a couple of tea bags, coffee and sugar sachets, future guests should be advised to do a quick shop on arrival. Thanks for having us and we'll be staying with you again when we next visit!

Gozo, 07-11 novembre 2022. Residence molto molto accogliente e carino, adatto al relax, distante dal caos turistico. Appartamento posto al 5° piano attico nr. 11, molto spazioso, soggiorno confortevole con un’ ampio terrazzo ben attrezzato con divanetti e poltrone, una stanza doppia con bagno, stanza matrimoniale con balcone vista piscina e mare (distante) e bagno proprio, lavatrice, angolo cottura ben attrezzato con lavatrice, microonde, tostapane e bollitore (ma per chi ama il caffè manca sia la macchina che la moka, vi è solo il bollitore per il caffè solubile) La locazione non è proprio vicina alla fermata dei bus (10 inuti a piedi) ma la zona è molto tranquilla e non affatto rumorosa. Marsalforn è posto a pochi chilometri da Victoria nella parte sud ovest ma comunque tutti gli autobus fanno capolinea a Victoria per potersi spostare nelle varie località o spiagge. La reception molto molto professionale e disponibile. Gozo, isola bellissima in tutti i suoi aspetti Consigliatissimo.
