Jalsa Beach Hotel & Spa

Hôtel sur la côte Est de l’ile....rien autour, pas de plage mais bord de l’eau. Nombre de transat limité tout comme le buffet. C’est un petit hôtel avec un bon rapport qualité prix et un personnel adorable. Si vous logez ici n’hésitez pas à louer une voiture pour découvrir l’île...

Hôtel parfait si vous voulez passer des vacances au calme Simple et sans trop de monde Le personnel d'une extrême gentillesse et compétent..les repas sont variés et très bons les animateurs du club creola sont juste géniaux gentils attentionnés et qui font tout leur possible pour que l'on passe un séjours agréable Les excursions par creola peuvent paraître un peu cher mais elles sont trop bien organisées..prise en charge a l'hôtel tout est inclus a aucun moment nous avons été decus..nous avons fait les 5 iles ( le trou du capitaine,l'île au phare,cascade,ile au cerf avec un super capitaine), la terre des sept couleurs ( avec visite de palais indou et chamarel accompagné de notre guide Rachel) visite de port louis ( et du jardin pamplemousse tjs avec Rachel) puis pour finir les dauphins ( avec un super équipage Nicolas et jo avec qui nous avons passé une journée magique..on a eu la chance de nager avec les dauphins, voir une énorme tortue, une raie, plein d'étoiles de mer puis nous avons peché le poisson qu'il nous ont préparé au barbecue pour le dejeuner juste parfait)

Superbe hôtel pour les familles, personnel à l’écoute. L'équipe d'animation était exceptionnelle. Merci infiniment à Annecy, Alisson et Iverson pour leur bienveillance envers nous tout au long du séjour. Nous avons hâte de revenir vous voir.

An honest review. Firstly no one mentions that the all inclusive doesn’t start until 2pm on arrival and finishes at 12pm leaving. Unacceptable and enough for us not to return. We arrived at 10am and couldn’t get a drink unless we paid for it which we did. £7 for a glass of beer and a glass of coke. There are no shops or restaurants outside for miles. Staff are friendly, hotel clean and deluxe sea view room was spacious. You are asked if you want lunch on day of arrival or day of leaving but you can’t have both!!! Well we did because lunch finishes at 2:30pm and all inclusive starts at 2pm. Honestly it’s penny pinching and really starts you off on the wrong foot. The beach is not really a beach, the sea you can in is only up to your waist at most. You can’t really snorkel here. The pool was not topped up daily resulting in the filtration not dealing with all the floating bits. Again it’s not deep but a bit deeper than the sea when topped up. Entertainment is hopelessly poor. Food is very lacking in variety, salad is the same every day cabbage, lettuce maybe and cucumber all mixed. Sometimes peeling of carrot. Veg is always mixed in something and never a choice of separate items. Whilst what we ate was ok it was never outstanding. Often dry with no available sauce or gravy. Chicken is served mainly on the bone. Roasted beef was always available but again no real sauce or gravy. Sometimes it was juicy sometimes it was a bit tough. Wedges were greasy and not nice. Breakfast was ok ish, bacon was over cooked most days, scrambled eggs don’t bother. Omelettes made for you or fried eggs, boiled or poached. Chicken Sausages and Pork sausages weren’t all that. They did have HP sauce which is a bonus. Overall food I’d give a 3 out 5. It got boring after the first week. We hired a car to go explore and get some nicer food outside. Mainly traveled to North to Grand Baie and West to Flic en Flac. Both offer great choices of restaurants and shops. Bus into Flaq is 35rupees each way. Get off at the Super U and McDonalds. The centre of Flaq is not a nice place TBH. Don’t bother with the market on Wed and Sundays. We would not return to Jalsa Beach

This was our second visit to Jalsa Beach and it was just as good as the first. Food was delicious and always a very good choice for the size of the hotel. The staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. The only down side was that a couple of times a week the animation team played VERY loud music around the pool after the aqua gym. The type of music that was sometimes played was not appropriate, in our opinion, for the age of the clientele. If the volume had been lower it would have been acceptable possibly. It seems unnecessary when most people who like to listen to music around the pool have AirPods and listen to their own choice of music. Having said all that it has not put us off returning to Jalsa Beach in the future.

Vacances magnifiques grâce au personnel de l hôtel toujours souriant comme les mauritiens. Ile de toute beauté et l accueil des autochtones est très chaleureux... le club coralia trop au top merveilleux souvenirs avec Annecy et Iverson trop trop bien. De belles rencontres... ne doutez pas allez y les yeux fermés (bien évidemment si vous aimez le calme et la chaleur des autres).
