Crowne Plaza ADELAIDE MAWSON LAKES by IHG

Nice and clean hotel, good location if you try to avoid busy city. Very friendly staff and quite good breakfast. I would stay here again next time visit Adelaide.

Beautiful clean hotel. Perfect breakfast and bar area. Location made it an easy drive to Adelaide and to the Barossa. I will stay hear again

Crowne Plaza Mawson Lakes is located about 25 mins m north of the Adelaide CBD in close proximity to the University of South Australia Mawson Lakes campus and is a great base for families of students attending events at the university. The surrounding areas have a few good restaurants especially on Mawson Lakes Boulevard. There is plenty of free parking in the adjacent Main Street and cheap paid parking in the UniSA Parking lot on University Boulevard North in addition to the secure paid parking available at the hotel. The hotel has decent rooms and bathrooms and a well stocked bar and restaurant next to the check-in lobby. Hotel provides a good breakfast buffet. The immediate surrounding is area is primarily residential and safe. The reception staff were friendly and helpful.

The hotel is quite new, with spacious rooms and a nice breakfast. The service is great too. But it’s really noisy, especially the sound of doors closing. If you’re a light sleeper, I wouldn’t recommend it.

I was welcomed to the hotel at the front desk by Xavier. He took the time and effort.to.find the right room for my needs. He was friendly, courteous, and very professional. The room was nicely appointed, clean, comfortable, and quiet. I can't ask for anything more than that. A very pleasant stay. One of the best hotels in the Adelaide region and I've stayed at many of them.

Staff are always friendly, rooms are clean

The hotel is clean a, room is big and comfortable. I can’t default . The breast is beautiful and delicious . The staffs are friendly and helpful

The hotel was spotless and the staff were incredibly friendly, making for a pleasant stay. regarding parking, the on-site parking is paid, so I found a spot outside to save on fees. Highly recommended!"

Noise, noise noise.... I decided to try it out instead of staying in North Adelaide.  I asked for a quiet room and was given a 6th floor room directly facing the big intersection at Elder Rd.  Even though double glazed, the huge wall of glass did little to dampen the 24 hour barrage of truck, bus, motorcycle and hoon car noise from the busy intersection. I tried to swap to an inner atrium facing room and found they are just as noisy with noise from the downstairs bar. Doors to rooms have no door seals and the badly adjusted door closers slam them shut. I hardly slept and will not be returning.
