Just got home from our 7 night stay here. Rooms - The rooms do need a makeover & have NO air con! During the 7 nights we were there our towels were only changed once despite them supposedly being changed 4 of the nights we were there. The bath mat in our room wasn’t changed at all despite it being dirty and the staffs excuse was that ‘they had none clean’ which isn’t our problem and they clearly know the amount of guests in the hotel at one time🤷🏼‍♀️ I also have false eyelashes which fall out and I will clean them up when I notice them however after the cleaners had been I was noticing them in the bed (sheets obviously hadn’t been changed) and on the floor! The floors were also dirty & sides were never wiped down. Upon arrival we had to switch rooms 3 times due to ants being on the worktops, all over the bin (which was empty) and all over the floor near the ‘kitchen’ area. We also found some in the bathrooms. We went to reception and they sent security up with ant powder, he took one look and made us switch rooms! Food - Hands down the worst all inclusive buffet we have been too. I am fussy so wasn’t expecting much for myself however my partner is the LEAST fussiest person and will quite literally eat anything, apart from this! He couldn’t even eat it and said how disgusting it was. We tried it for a few nights and were happy when we saw it was Italian night but it was the same as every other night! We ended up eating out every night after the first 2 nights as we couldn’t stand it! Not ideal after paying for an all inclusive buffet🤷🏼‍♀️It was repetitive and was cold 90% of the time. Staff - the majority were 10/10 and very attentive around the pool and bar areas. The restaurant staff were great the nights we were there but like most places abroad they were sadly very overworked and understaffed. The ‘main’ restaurant male would stand around observing everyone eating and whenever we would ask him for help he would usher us along to another one of the workers to sort. Anouar is amazing, so friendly and accommodating. Along with the female worker at the pool bar. Pool & bar - The pool was great and cleaned every night! It is open 10-6 but we noticed it often stays open later. The sun beds we had to wait for from about 8,30am to ensure we had a brolly. They do have activities some days such as inflatables in the pool & a mat to run across. The pool bar was good it has pastries, cakes & crisps available. The drinks were okay, our family mainly was having spirits as the wine and beer wasn’t great. The photos that the hotel has displayed are also not an accurate representation of what the hotel is now like.
