Neuhaus Zillertal Resort

The newly constructed Spa area is truly top of the line; the 38 million Euro investment is a treat in every aspect, with panoramic sauna, singing bowl sessions and swinging lounge chairs, not to mention an indoor waterpark paradise for kids and adults. Since the resort claims to be a 4****s hotel, we expected the same in the rooms and restaurant as well. But it doesn’t quite live up to expectations. The Suite was spacious, but quite dark; the terrace almost useless due to huge skylights from the floor below, which also obscured the view of the mountains. The room itself was quite basic: no coffee maker, no mini bar, kleenex missing, shower door broken and over heated ( without being able to adjust). Also no ski or boot room at the hotel. The full board dinner was also not as great as the a-la-cart options, as the food sits ready in the kitchen and is delivered within 30 seconds. Breakfast buffet is great, tho, with many options and a custom cook. Service is friendly and competent throughout as expected, but overall we were a bit disappointed for the price level, albeit all these little shortcomings are easily fixed to complete the impression. Until then we’ll scout for other options in the lovely Zillertal.

We had the most wonderful stay. Everything about the hotel was perfect. Gorgeous and spacious apartment, fabulous food, friendly staff, particularly in the restaurant & the new wellness area is incredible. We will definitely return! If you are debating going to this hotel do it! You won’t regret it!

Top Hotel mit hochmodernen Wellnessbereich. Klare Weiterempfehlung und das wohl beste Wellness Hotel im Zillertal. Völlig begeistert waren wir vom Spa Bereich. Das Ambiente und die Auswahl an Saunen und Becken ist einfach der Hammer. Es gibt es nur ein paar kleine Kritikpunkte: Es gibt keinen Raum ohne Entspannungsmusik. Zudem ist die Musik für unseren Geschmack viel zu laut. Der Infinity Pool und die Saunen sind erst ab halb 3 geöffnet. Das ist etwas spät wenn man an einem regnerischen/bewölkten Tag den kompletten Wellnessbereich nutzen möchte. Nur das Innenbecken hat geöffnet. Lage und Ausstattung auf höchstem Niveau. Reisezeitraum würde ich allerdings zukünftig nicht mehr in den Zeitraum des Snowbombing Festivals legen, da hier die Briten die Nacht zum Tag machen und man kaum schlafen kann. Das war sehr störend. Es bietet sich an ein Zimmer mit Bergblick zu nehmen, da der Weg zum Bahnhof direkt am Hotel vorbeiführt und man hier früh morgens schon einige Koffer rollen hört. Das 5 Gänge Menü könnte noch einen Tick ausgefallener sein ansonsten gibt es eine große Auswahl. Mein Schollenfilet war etwas trocken und die Kartoffeln nicht ganz durch. Die Rinderhüfte war hingegen perfekt. Das Salatbuffet ist sehr reichlich. Ebenso das Frühstück lässt nichts zu wünschen übrig. Das Nachmittags Dessert bietet wenig Auswahl und ist sehr zuckerhaltig. Um Umwegen an der Bar kann man sich einen Kaffee bestellen. Zum Abschluss: Das urige wird hier erhalten!

Die Lage ist ausgezeichnet, die Zimmer sind wunderschön und sauber, das Personal ist freundlich und aufmerksam, und das Essen ist einfach hervorragend. Das neue Badehaus ist spektakulär. Das Hotel bietet alles, was man braucht, von Kinderbetreuung bis hin zu Yoga und Massage. Zum Hotel gehören außerdem ein riesiger Fitnessraum, ein Kino, ein Kinderland sowie eine Bar mit Kegelbahn, Tischfußball und Billard. Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig; von Lachs bis frisch gepressten Smoothies ist alles vorhanden. Das 5-Gänge-Abendessen ist kulinarisch ein Highlight, und das Personal bemüht sich wirklich, alle Wünsche zu erfüllen. Live-Musik am Abend trägt zur guten Stimmung bei. Das neu eröffnete, brandneue 5800 m² große Badehaus bietet einen 25-Meter-Galerie-Garten-Pool, einen Infinity-Pool, eine dreistöckige Kinderwasserwelt sowie eine Panorama-Eventsauna und verschiedene Saunaaufguss-Events. Diese Angebote sind äußerst attraktiv und beinhalten frisches Obst und gesunde Knabbereien. Die Gartenanlage umfasst 15.000 m² und bietet einen Naturbadesee sowie zahlreiche bequeme Liegegelegenheiten. Ein neuer Naturspielplatz wurde gerade errichtet und steht den Kindern bald zur Verfügung. Dieses Resort ist auf jeden Fall weiterzuempfehlen. Wir kommen sicher wieder!

Excellent all round. Lovely clean hotel and surrounding areas. Pristine accommodation with friendly and attentive staff. Lots of options for food and drink with an option to swap a half board for a fondue and an unbelievable breakfast option. Sensational spa too, which was an added bonus
