"Our stay at Lough Bawn House was a truly wonderful experience. The location is beyond compare. The beautiful period house is nestled in a completely private setting overlooking rolling fields and a crystal clear lake and surrounded by century old trees. Verity, the owner, provided us with a beautiful breakfast every morning with lots of home made bread and jams and a delicious dinner that had seasonal vegetables from her organic garden.
We hated to leave and hope to be back soon. Do yourself a favour and treat yourself to a little slice of heaven!"

"The estate is conveniently located, about a 10 minute drive from the nearby town of Maynes and about a half-hour drive from Dublin. The key is that the estate is very ancient and elegant, embraced by towering forests and vast green grasslands, very peaceful. The estate was founded in the 17th century and has a strong sense of history. We stayed there for several days, and the room facilities were relatively comprehensive and the hygiene was very good. Especially the female owner Angela and male owner Malcolm are very enthusiastic. They introduced us to interesting attractions nearby, and their two dogs are too friendly! As soon as he saw me, he wagged his tail and ran over to show off. What left a deep impression on us was that Angela and Malcolm took the initiative to invite us to visit the various exhibition rooms inside the historic old estate, and Angela personally guided and explained them. Thank you very much to them! recommend!"
"It is a lovely hotel. However the service was lacking slightly for a 5 star hotel. For example, they were aware the tv was broken in most rooms, but there did not seem to be an impetus to fix them. The door to our bedroom was not working properly and there were smaller cosmetic issues most particularly noticed in the gym. It was a lovely stay, but there definitely is room for improvement. "
"It looks like a private manor in the countryside, covering a large area. The rooms are in a row of independent houses next to the main building.
The room facilities are old and there may be spiders. It is not a standard star hotel standard, but it has the characteristics of a country villa and is full of fresh travel experience.
The service is very warm and professional; the breakfast is an authentic English breakfast with fresh ingredients."

舒舒Probably the best hotel in Trim, directly opposite the castle. I lived in a triple room with two double beds. The room was very large and could see the church and the garden. The breakfast is also very rich. Very satisfied!
BBigluceBeautiful hotel, the room was lovely. The staff were very friendly and welcoming Ì would recommend this hotel and will be going back next time I’m in Ireland
GGuest UserThe rooms were good, excellent bed, but room service was not very good, the sandwiches we ordered were tasteless and no condiments with the meal-mayonnaise, tomato sauce, salt, pepper missing
TTaggart NeumanasVery friendly staff when I arrived and plenty of free parking. I got a spotlessly clean room with plenty of workspace, the coffee maker in the room is a nice touch. The hotel is only 10 mins walk from the town centre. As it was a quiet Tuesday night I ate in the hotel restaurant which was good value. Breakfast, included with the room, was served in the main restaurant and it was nice to have a freshly cooked fry up, not the usual lukewarm buffet most hotels seem to have now. Looking forward to staying again in a few weeks time.
