Great hotel comfy beds service excellent Right in the heart of everything

Great location, easy walk to Beale Street. Room was very clean. Duck Parade is a must. Will definitely stay here again.

The room was ok, but not very well maintained. The bathroom was tiny. So small in fact, it is difficult to adequately describe. I've experienced a few like this in Asia, but never in the US, even in heritage properties. The area surrounding the hotel feels quite unsafe, especially at night. I read that the CEO of the Memphis Convention and Visitors Bureau was shot dead walking downtown in broad daylight. Looking around, it's not hard to understand why the national guard may be needed here.

We had an incredible 2 night stay to celebrate our anniversary. The entire staff - front desk, valet, porters, shop associates, restaurant servers, housekeeping, etc are very friendly and helpful. The highlight was the Duck Master and his presentation in taking the ducks back to their duck palace in the evening. He has found his calling! We enjoyed being able to sit in the lobby to take a break from tours and sites. Thanks to everyone for making it such a lovely stay!

Anyone who stays in old historic hotels expects, teeny bathrooms, no refrigerators and bad air conditioning. The Peabody hit two out of three. No fridges. $15 a day to get one. My toes almost hit the tub when on the toilet (tmi possibly), but someone upgraded the air and it was wonderful considering we were in Memphis in August. But other than the potty inconvenience, what a great place to stay. Service was impeccable. The staff friendly and seemed to enjoy what they do which is so refreshing. Great location for smaller meetings. We had about 55 people and it could not have been more convenient. Bar was exceptional. Great place to just hang out. Bar staff amazing…props to Anna our bartender that week. One block up from Beale Street. I travel a lot and this is my new favorite hotel. Can’t say enough about the staff, although I called for a Manager and still haven’t heard back but we will table that issue. Quaint, beautifully appointed, amazing service from valet to bell to desk to bar to housekeeping. Food was good at our events. Well oiled machine. Highly recommend if you are going to Memphis. Worth it! If you can’t afford to stay there just go for a drink.

From the moment we arrived we were not disappointed. The bar was well tended. The restaurant was great, Caprisio, the waitress Coco was lovely, smiley, kind and very attentive. The duck march was so lovely. It was great having the ducks in the fountain all day. Lovely room and very clean. Lovely duck in my gin too!

The Peabody is an amazing hotel. It’s really more of an experience than a hotel. The lobby has a timeless feel to it. We spent too much time there. It’s really cool. The hotel restaurants are top tier. The coffee shop is great too. And having Lansky Brothers in the lobby, which is also basically a rock guitar museum, adds to the experience. And the ducks and duck master add a piece of unique fun, a highlight for my wife. I didn’t love Memphis, as it needs much more cleaning up, but locals told me it is moving quickly in the right direction. However, we would, and we will, go through Memphis again to spend a couple of nights in the Peabody.

I was on a business trip and brought my wife along for the stay. We both had an enjoyable time in Memphis. The staff at the hotel was awesome! They took great care of us and made wonderful suggestions for places to go.

A VERY beautiful place with a lot of tradition. It showed with the Duck Master and concierge. However, I was let down by some of the staff, particularly in the Capriccio Grill for 2 breakfasts. Most did not smile or care to do their job. Casually walked to take orders and talked in the side room. On the other hand, the Front Desk staff were amazing. (Shout-out to Julia.) She understood my needs as a solo traveler. I stayed 4 nights. Most like I will not be back. (One and Done!)

This is a gorgeous hotel. Great location. It gives the ambiance of luxury and history. The ducks are cute novelty. The negatives are surly service. An arrogance. A sense of presumption and indifference. We have travelled right through the USA on a huge road trip, stayed in motels and hotels, this was supposed to a treat, but it has been the most grumpy service of any place we have stayed, visited or eaten! A cup of hot tea is an inconvenience. Everything is too much as apposed to nothing is too much. We are not wealthy people, this was us spending hard earned money, we are from the UK. We expected better from you! Hairs in the bathroom, serious levels of dust in the breakfast restaurant and not a smile anywhere. We run a business and this attitude comes from the top. So Peabody get over yourself and treat us with the respect we deserve!

Absolutely stunning hotel, lived up to our expectations. Great singer in the bar, happy hour brilliant . Duck master professional and friendly Cakes from the Deli - delightful. We were very impressed with the whole stay

The hotel is beautiful. However, the recent renovations were a bit awkward. Room did not have mini refrigerator and bathroom did not have a towel rack outside the tub area. Issue when we checked in-front desk employee said our room was not currently available but offered upgrade at an additional $90/night. When we said "no", she said how about $60/night. We said no again and asked to see the Manager as this was approaching "bait and switch". She did not get the Manager, but said how about $30 extra a night. The room had a supposed view (which turned out to be the debris filled side of the hotel across the street). Since we were tired from the flight, we said "yes". Note-we addressed this under separate cover to Management and we received a refund to my credit card for this "upgrade". Also, when we checked out the concierge was not available until 2pm. We have stayed at other luxury hotels-this hotel was not on the same level as those establishments. Amenities and customer service are important facets of "luxury".

This was a very good hotel, but a little more expensive than I would have wanted. The beds sleep wonderfully though. Housekeeping is very efficient.

The duck show was different. It was the boutique queen room of my dreams. I was blown away with the bedding it was so comfortable and soft. The lighting in the room was sufficient with lamps that lower if you want to change the ambiance in the room. The chairs are the right height for aging knees in your 50's. The Nespresso was a cool classy touch if you have never tried it. May you can allow the guest to choose the Nespresso or Keriug. The bathroom was sanitary and clean. I enjoyed being in the room so much that I booked a second night.
