We stayed 12 March to 14 March 2025 and wished we could have stayed longer. Marco welcomed us with our wine choice from Catarratto or Nero d’Avila and briefly explained everything we needed to know about the room, breakfast, and dinner. We went for a run in the surrounding forrest with artichokes, other plants, and flowers blooming. Before dinner, Marco greeted us with another glass of wine to watch one of the most amazing sunsets. Everything about dinner was impeccable from service to taste to presentation. Compliment to the chef! We could try any wines we liked and Marco even gifted us two dessert wines. Breakfast the next morning was very big, even by American standards: an assortment of sweets, yogurt, granular, and made to order eggs or omelettes. Coffee was made to order and free flowing, which was just perfect as we had a big day exploring nearby Selinunte and Zingaro. Day two was a repeat of day one, only better because we visited Salvatore Tamburello winery and bought a couple bottles of wine for dinner. Marco matched our wines by serving wines of his winery, Tenuta Stocchatello and it was indeed a spectacular blind wine tasting. Oh yes, let’s not forget the infinity pool that overlook their vineyards!
