My brother and I stayed here while on a trip to North Carolina for a few sporting events. We had come to Raleigh for a Hurricanes game and picked this location to stay due to its close proximity to PNC Arena. There is nothing close by that you could walk to, no restaurants (other than a McDonalds), shopping (other than a gas station convenience store). The Hotel is okay, the room seemed a bit small but it wasn't anything that you couldn't manage. The amenities were a bit scarce, (this is a no frills place). Continental breakfast met your needs, nothing to fancy the usual, cereal, yogurt, bagels, toast, muffins, some fruit. I must say the front end staff were very friendly and nice. They do have a shuttle that will take you to the arena for about 10 bucks which isn't bad. All in all an okay place but if you don't have a vehicle your pretty much pooched. Cost per night was $ 105.41 US if you booked in advance. (we booked two months in advance)

We stayed here for two nights when we were exhibiting flowers at the state fair. I was so impressed by the cleanliness and the friendliness of the staff. The indoor pool was nice too; it's not very deep - 3 to 5 feet deep to be exact - but it is immaculately clean and when I swam ( usually during dinner hour) it was so peaceful with just a hint of music playing in the background. The bed was so comfortable, and yes, trains do go by every few hours, but if you're as tired as we were, we really didn't pay much attention. Breakfast was simple, but good with good selections of things like eggs, bacon, and waffles. There were also things like oatmeal, fruits, bagels, toast, and such.I would definitely stay again.

We stayed at this hotel well we were in North Carolina to watch the Bruins play the Hurricanes. The hotel was very modern, and smelled great when we walked in. The staff was very friendly, and accomodating. The room was an upgraded king. It was modern, and clean. The room had a big lcd tv, fridge, and microwave. There was a train track that ran parallel to the hotel on the side with even number rooms. We only heard it once in the middle of the night. But it did blow its horn and wake us up. The pool, fitness center, and business area are great. A big bonus was the free transportation to the RBC center. There is not much around other then a Mcdonalds, but we had a car, so it wasnt a big deal. I would stay here again if I were in the area.

The hotel was under remodel, which was never communicated to me. It had also changed names, which again was never told to me. The staff was unhelpful and the checkin process was backed up. The keys didn't work when I got back to the room on the second day and I got a text message that implied I had been checked out when my things were still in the room and it took me quite a while to get someone on the phone to say I still had my room.
