This was the best all-round holiday destination anyone could ever ask for. The simplicity of the resort is complimented by unforgettable views, extremely delicious food and the most warm and welcoming staff I’ve ever met at any hotel ever. The hotel is mostly frequented by Italian tourists, which is testament to its authentic charm. This slice of heaven is yet to be discovered by most outside of Italy - so get in before it completely books out! The two highlights of this trip were the food and the staff. We ate like kings, with all meals containing the freshest produce grown on the farm next to the resort. The vegetables were amazingly fresh and the seafood was world-class. We were extremely well looked after by all the staff, who were so friendly and felt like real friends by the end of the week - we were sad to say goodbye. The founder of the hotel, Nicola, was giving away free produce and encouraging us to try all the many products they produced on site (jams, fruit, . Francesco was hilarious, and brightened every one of our mornings during breakfast. Nicola Jr was charming and attentive, and looked after everyone exceptionally at lunch time. Mariano was a fantastic asset to the dinner service, he treated us like absolute royalty and made an incredible negroni (and always with a big smile). We also appreciated Maria, Franco, and Giovanni for their friendliness, attentiveness and care. The room was clean and cosy, and had everything we needed for the week. The pool was spectacular with its geothermal heating and literal cave built into the rocks. The resort is peaceful, and great for relaxing and resting with no interruption or disturbance from the outside world. The beach is a short walk, with crystal blue waters that beat any Mediterranean destination we’ve ever visited. Anyone would be foolish not to stay here. We can’t wait to come back!
