San Lorenzo - Boutique Hotel & Spa

We stayed as a group of 47 seniors for 7 nights, during which we did 4 or 5 day trips on the Amalfi coast, each 12 hours long, walking 10 km/day. The day was 31 degrees Celsius, and at night at 9 pm it was 26 degrees. The view from the hotel entrance or from a common terrace was wonderful. There were some small problems with the accommodation: for technical and subjective reasons, the air conditioning didn't work (although it would have cost us an additional 10 EUR/day, which we would have paid for it) and the small fridge on the wall didn't work, we didn't have a balcony (where to dry our socks and air out our shoes after 12 hours of walking a day) and there was no daily cleaning, there was dust on the floor, and the small wardrobe had no doors, the swimming pool, which would have cost us an additional 20 EUR per day, per person, could not be used when there were festivities, which happened on 4 days out of 6. The rooms were equipped with a water heater for tea or coffee, but also, funny enough, they only had plastic cups. The TV remote controls in several rooms didn't work. Every morning we had a buffet, containing the same thing: 2 types of cheese, ham, eggs (either boiled or scrambled), sliced ​​tomatoes and 3 types of cakes, juices and coffee from the machine. In the evening we had a fixed menu with 3 courses, one of which was pasta. An hour and a half passed before we were served with the 3 courses. It wouldn't hurt if dinner was buffet style too. The distance to Castellammare di Stabia, from where we took the boat for excursions and where we could possibly go to the beach and swim in the sea, was 45 minutes by local bus or 25 minutes by excursion coach or taxi (for 60 EUR).

Il Nostro Matrimonio Salvatore e Assia 26/5/2025 Voglio partire con il ringraziare Antonio Pentangelo s il titolare della struttura suo cugino Antonio Pentangelo una persona distinta ed estremamente a modo e disponibile gestiscono la struttura in modo attento e maniacale . La struttura ha un panorama INDESCRIVIBILE 😍😱 la sala e le terrazze erano pulite e in ordine per l’evento . L’hotel SAN LORENZO la suite che ci ha ospitato quella notte era oltre bellissima pulita e con tanti confort !! COMPLIMENTI I complimenti vanno alla cucina per aver reso questo giorno unico con un percorso gastronomico ricco e di qualità da mare a terra La freschezza dei crudi di mare e la tenerezza della carne alla brace , mozzarella tirata a mano un sapore unico e territoriale per non parlare del Salmone in bellavista e i fritti di mare e terra angolo panuozzi e pizza super !!!! In sala Poesia i piatti erano squisiti e ordinati e un applauso al filetto di ricciola con stracciata di bufala pomodorino confit e broccolo pastellato COMPLIMENTI CHEF ! Un eloggio alla persona che per chi sceglierà di sposarsi in questa location per noi fantastica innamorati dal primo momento che ci siamo stati nel nov 2023 è Roberto il direttore di sala , professionista del settore con una squadra di ragazzi attenti e gentili sotto la guida di Roberto ci ha accompagnato dal primo momento che siamo arrivati fino all’ultimo momento dell’evento 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻♥️ ha coordinato l’evento eccezionale e anche se abbiamo fatto un po tardi non ci ha fatto sentire la fretta e la pressione che talvolta si riscontra in questi eventi da parte della struttura. Il percorso gestito in modo ottimale ma la sala Poesia sei stato grande i tavoli erano ben gestiti e le portare arrivavano tutte insieme sui tavoli !!! Grande 👏🏻♥️ Grazie anche a Giuliana cordiale e disponibile ♥️ Il nostro è stato un evento organizzato nel minimo dettaglio con amore e dedizione e ci siamo riusciti nell’intento sono passate due settimane e ci ringraziano ancora per il divertimento, il cibo e la bellezza della struttura Ci vediamo al prossimo EVENTO 🤩💪🏻

Not recommended I stayed at the San Lorenzo for a few nights after attending a wedding. The hotel unfortunately seems like a complete afterthought and absolutely none of the service or experience was remotely similar to that experienced at their wedding venue. The room itself was ok but as per the other reviews, the AC wasn’t working. They said they’d send an engineer, that may have happened but we heard no update and it was still faulty so we gave up. Thankfully the weather wasn’t too warm and we left the balcony door open every night but the room would be horrible if the weather was warmer. I’m astonished this hotel is classed as 4*, the floor was unclean (walking from the bathroom to your bed left dirt and crumbs on your feet) and there was a lot of mould in the shower, very thin towels (like a thick paper towel) and they provided absolutely 2x tiny 20ml bottles of shower gel that doubled as shampoo and never replaced it. The room and balcony area smelled of sewage constantly, which also seemed to be coming from under the bed. The doors made a very loud buzzing sound when you pressed your key card and you had to force the door open sharply to get in-so much in fact that when others opened their doors in our corridor our own door burst open from the vibrations several times. Not great if you’re sleeping or have left the room during the day and not nice being woken up by the noise from others. Hotellet trænger til en gennemgående renovering. Der er ingen instruktion til værelsets jacuzzi. Hotellet er også storleverandør i lokaler til bryllupper hvilket gjorde at vi ikke kunne få adgang til restauranten en aften! Poolen virkede heller ikke særligt prioriteret længere selv om det fortsat var ganske varmt. Området er skønt. Personalet hjælper det de kan. Køkkenet er det bedste på hotellet. De laver fantastisk mad. Vi kommer nok ikke igen.

Pool level of housekeeping The room was not clean when we arrived, there was hair in the shower and on the bathroom and bedroom floor. We had to ask twice to get housekeeping to clear the bathroom, eventually this was done around 10pm. The sink would not drain properly and the shower leaked water over the bathroom floor.

Hotel with amazing view. Amazing hotel high up over looking the bay of Castelemare fantastic views. The staff Rita Valentina claudia and waiting and house keeping staff were always helpful. A car is helpful there are buses direct to the train station and town.Transport trains and buses very cheap. There are limited food outlets and no where to go on the evening also without any English speaking tv channels.
