Lovely location in a very safe neighbourhood. Rural pubs and a great Italian style restaurant. The breakfast at Ducks was just amazing and flavoursome. Stayed in the log cabins 1 and 3 at end of propery close to the river. Only one small issue, wi fi was not working. We put the phones down and had a great break. 👍 I would recommend the log cabins.

Beautiful setting also next to the klip river. The size of my accomodation was absolutely huge. Very good breakfast and amazing value for money. Just loved the peace and quite.

We booked this as a weekend away for an early Valentine's day. It was nice and peaceful. Great way to get out of the city into the country side only 40 minutes away from Sandton. Breakfasts were great! The cabins are close to the river and within walking distance.

Beautifully appointed rooms & guesthouse! Clean & comfortable & wow the breakfast was AMAZING!! Even though we were the only guests for the night the staff spared nothing! We'll definitely be back thank you

I loved the dinner and breakfast. I loved Launia. Dawn was really nice. The property is very beautiful. You can go on little walks. The area is quaint. The room is very quiet and the view is nice. Perfect for a solo writer’s trip. I highly recommend it!

Stunning guesthouse in a tranquil setting on the Klipriver. Perfect venue if you need to stay in and around the area. The guesthouse offers dinner on request and the setting and food at dinner was stunning. Small little town with almost nothing to do, so make certain that you take reading material when relaxing in this spot. Thank you Dawn and Lornea for the absolute top notch hospitality and friendliness.

We booked online about 4 hours before we checked in, so one could perhaps understand that the room was not perfect on such short notice. There was coffee but no cups or spoons. It was not as if they were busy, so I feel they could have checked even after we checked-in to see that all was well. Otherwise the room was fine and there was some sherry waiting. My spouse was a bit thrown by a part of wet carpet likely from a quick clean before we arrived. Breakfast choice had to be made the previous evening and was good, except for a piece of burnt toast. For the price I do not feel that we might return, except for the attraction of being on the river.

Beautiful Garden and peaceful surroundings, loved the bamboo forest and water around the cottage, truly magical. Room was very clean and service and breakfast was excellent! Will definitely stay at Ducks again!
