If you’re looking for a traditional French hotel full of character and charm, don’t go here! From our experience, the online pictures of the rooms bear no relation to the reality. Our so-called « superior queen room » was truly awful. It was so bad that, for the first time ever, we decided to cut our losses and stay somewhere else. It’s the top floor of a poolside annexe and it appears to have stayed in a 1980s time warp. The bathroom and shower were horrible as was the toilet, which was in a kind of enclosed cupboard with no ventilation. Wallpaper peeling and grubby. Bedding looked old and worn. Why stay in a place which is far, far worse than your own home? But, judging from the reviews, some people apparently like this kind of thing. Pay no attention to the photos on websites. This place needs a complete renovation. Gives French hotels a bad name.

If you are English speaking with limited French you might want to avoid this place. We found the entire France to be accommodating and friendly towards English but this hotel was the exception. We paid for Breakfast, but got nothing. Had to ask 3 times for coffee and when we ask for the food we were ignored.

la chambre dans laquelle nous avons couché ne disposait pas d'une literie acceptable et elle etait située au dessus de la sortie de la hotte aspirante de la cuisine ! impossible d'ouvrir la fenêtre, chaud dehors et chaude dedans sans climatisation, un mauvais moment à passer ! je pense que nous n'avons pas eu de chance ....mais le prix etait le même que les autres chambres !

Si vous réservez via une wonderbox, même s'ils ont des chambres de libre, vous refusent la location surtout si c'est un séjour ou ils savent qu'ils auront du monde qui loue en direct. Voilà les propos tenus par la réceptionniste de ce logis. Il m'arrive souvent de passer en direct pour des locations mais je peux vous dire que ce logis je le raye de ma liste et ne le recommanderai pas. Avoir si peu de professionnalisme est une honte.

Excellent séjour !Nous sommes ravis sur tous les plans. Chambre propre, literie impeccable. Restaurant parfait,les Plats sont excellents et copieux ! L'hôtel est très bien placé pour visiter les beaux villages. Pour ceux qui ont des enfants,ils seront ravis de trouver des poules,un mouton, et un âne. D'ailleurs les omelettes sont excellentes avec des oeufs frais.

Une cuisine traditionnelle excellente, généreuse de très bons produits locaux.service impeccable de Joëlle. Omelette aux cepes. Boeuf sauce 🍄 filet mignons de porc. Cest copieux et délicieux Nous reviendrons . Un plat de poisson à la carte serait le bienvenu.

Excellent acceuil, repas à la hauteur de nos attentes. Personnel irréprochable, d’une humanité sans faille. Une chambre pour une nuit d’amour exceptionnelle. Je recommande sans hésiter ! Réservez un petit repas avec Joelle en serveuse et vous serez plongé au cœur de Meyssac !
