*Avoid This Hotel – Disrespectful Staff & Terrible Experience*
Having stayed in hotels across different countries and cities, this was the worst experience I have ever had and lead me to write my first Google review to share my experience.
From the moment I checked in, the staff were shockingly rude. At reception, the old, bald man *threw my passport back at me*. When I asked about getting change for my city tax payment, he *yelled at me* in an insulting manner, attempt to repeat my Cantonese in a discriminatory way saying errr errr errr errr (嗯嗯嗯). My hair literally move from the force of his yelling.
The poor treatment did not stop there. The next day, when I just opened the room door, the same staff *continued to stare at me aggressively*. At checkout, while waiting for the elevator, the housekeeper *shouted at us*.
It is pathetic that this hotel relies on tourists to sustain its business yet *treats with such hostility* . If they are unwilling to welcome international guests with basic respect, they could *delist their property from foreign booking platforms* and *explicitly state that tourists are not welcome*.
I have never in my life encountered this kind of treatment even in my working environments. I paid for the stay not begging for a free stay.
Avoid this place at all costs. There are plenty of hotels that will treat you with the courtesy and professionalism that every guest deserves.
