We loved Hotel San Michele!!! It’s within five minutes walking distance to the port waterfront, ferries to the islands, several restaurants, three pastry shops, a super market and a clean Speed Queen Laundry-mat. All the staff are so lovely and helpful the reception desk is manned 24 hours, the housekeeping staff do a great job and the daily breakfast is included. Reception desk staff Irenia and Alberto need a special mention for their pleasant friendly helpful attitude and restaurant suggestions. The hotel is clean and the room is very large. The hotel is priced so reasonably, you get value for money. The owner is present daily and must treat his staff well, because it shows in their pleasant and happy attitude. The staff also understand and speak english, a great asset to a non-Italian speaking guest like me. We will be back!

Hotel sencillo. Quizás por eso está un poco subido de precio. Habitaciones algo ajadas, sobre todo los baños. El personal amable. El desayuno normalito.En fin es de esos lugares donde tienes una experiencia agradable pero que sabes que no volverás.

Lovely place. Giada paid attention to us as if she were the owner. Convenient location to the port. 10 minute walk to the ferry, retaurants and shopping. Excellent breakfast. We will be staying at the same hotel next week upon our return from Stromboli.

Positivo: Camas muy comodas y bien ubicado para cogwr ferry. Desayuno muy completo. Negativo: Ducha muy incomoda y pequeña.

We came to Milazzo with the intention of taking the ferry to the islands, however, it rained, and we spent an unexpected and delightful stay in the city of Milazzo. The hotel is in an ideal location if you want to reach the ferry. We walked all the way to the top of the castle, which was amazing. The streets are lovely to stroll at night, well lit and very safe. We ate at some very good restaurants. The hotel provided one of our favorite breakfasts in Sicily. Lots of choices and the staff was very pleasant. Great parking in the basement. I would stay here again and recommend this hotel.
