Loved this place. Great food, comfortable room and excellent food. The diving was great too, particularly the night diving on the house reef to see the mandarin fish mating.

I came for the diving, with no expectations. The diving is decent. the resort is really well maintained and comfortable, with the exception of hot water in the shower not working if anyone else nearby took a shower, and even lost all water when several others used theirs. I did have staff check it out. However the water is tepid out of the shower head so I had no cold showers and it was actually just fine. But after 3 dives a hot shower is luxurious. The staff is the best I have experienced anywhere and I highly recommend. The only reason I would not go backnis their other resort, Magic Oceans, has better diving and is newer. But if you are not heading to Bohol, do not think twice, book this resort.

My superior room was cool, spacious, comfortable with a tropical vibe and fantastic view. My wifi worked 98% of the time. It was quiet and cleaned every day. The staff were so friendly and accommodated my every need. A big thanks to the dive crew and Chin for assisting me to be able to scuba dive. The dive set up was so clean, roomy and efficient, they made it so easy helping me, I can’t walk far and this resort was perfect for my needs. Worth the travelling, highly recommended. The resort vehicles were comfortable and clean with drivers kind and punctual. They even made an espresso martini 🍸 for me! It should go on the menu! Food was fresh and tasty with many options. The diving was unbelievable and so easy that I did my first night dive in ten years. Relaxing massages, pedicure and everything you could want for a memorable time.

Sea view from the deck chairs close to the bar is so fantastic that we spent hours there. Diving center of the hotel is really great with an incredible support from all members of the team. Special thanks to Jason B and Jason L who are great nice and professional persons. We enjoyed a lot our 7 days stay at Magic Island with our daughters since we had the opportunity to dive with many turtles and a lot of muck. I had a surgery on my right ankle 3 months prior to the trip and the assistance of the diving team made my vacations wonderful indeed. Food is good and the choice of cocktails / mocktails / freshly squeezed juices at reasonable prices is excellent. Only one negative topic : there are jellyfish therefore avoid shorty and chose long sleeves wet suits preferably. Massage are good value for money too.

My stay in the Magic Islands was one great experience I'll remember for a long time. The staff was fantastic, they treated us like family members. They knew our names and the likes and dislikes for meals. The experience of being catered to on the boat, in the Dive Center, during the Dives, in the bar and the restaurant was exemplary. I have to call out the breakfast crew they were fun and entertaining never dull moment.

This has been the best dive resort we have been to. It was small and quaint. The dives were amazing. Food was really good. The staff was overwhelmingly friendly and accommodating. We felt right at home. We didn’t want to leave but we went to the sister resort magic oceans for our next dives.

Our stay at Magic Island Resort was superb. We were so well looked after by the friendly staff and the attention to detail was incredible. The food was delicious. We felt like part of the family. Nothing was too hard. The facilities were exquisite the diving amazing and the ocean views perfect. We can't wait to return again.

The resort is fantastic . The diving is nowadays very poor as the area was damaged by an hurricane 2 years ago. The reef has been trashed. The only great thing to dive for is the sardines balls but they are too close to the beach and snorklers are now impacting on their behaviour . The island of Pescador offers some interesting dives too.

Band of Bubbles 2024 Philippines Dive Trip! This was the most SPLENDID vacation we've ever had! The Magic Resorts pair of Magic Island and Magic Oceans is just astonishingly great! The trip is long and grueling from the US, but it's worth every moment spent getting there! We spent one week at Magic Island and then transferred to Magic Oceans on Bohol. All of the transfers went without a hitch. What an AWESOME job they did at orchestrating all of that. Once we settled into Magic Island we had the most amazing week ever! The diving was awe-inspiring and the staff made our group feel like family. The pure joy and happiness was 24/7 during our stay. Not only was the diving incredible, but the food was seemingly endless and delicious! You won't go hungry here!!
