"We spent a week here and would definitely recommend it. The hotel is excellent value. The rooms are nice although room 109 has a very small shower. Spacious pool and garden area. Located in a peaceful, rural area of Sicily. We drove to the beach every day. But the gem of this place is the restaurant. The locals flock here every evening - but don’t worry it’s not near the rooms so wouldn’t disturb you. Delicious food - try the mussel soup. The pizzas are amazing. And all served by lovely staff. A real family feel."

"My daughter and I stayed at MPH for three nights in early July. While the hotel has some lovely features, our overall experience was unfortunately impacted by several avoidable issues. We were initially given a room with a window rather than a balcony, which was due to an error by the booking agent—not the hotel. We requested a swap, but no balcony rooms were available. That said, the room was clean, modern, and the beds were comfortable. We also really enjoyed the breakfast—fresh and well-prepared. The hotel is located in a fairly remote area, and with the on-site restaurant closed during our stay, we had to drive out every evening to find dinner. We stayed in Room 1, which is right next to reception. Unfortunately, this made for a very disturbed first night due to loud noise and what sounded like shouting during the night. We requested a room change and were moved to a room on the first floor, which was thankfully much quieter. On the second evening, we returned to the hotel around 10pm hoping to have a drink at the bar, but were told it closed at 8pm and only soft drinks were available. That night, however, we did manage to get a good night’s sleep. On our final night, we came back to loud music and a full DJ party by the pool and garden area. This was quite a shock, especially as we needed to wake at 6am for a four-hour drive to the airport and from the car in the UK. I called reception at 11:30pm to ask when the music would end, as the bass was extremely loud and disturbing. I was told it was a birthday party. When I pointed out that it was a Monday and some guests might have work or early travel, the receptionist replied that it "shouldn't affect me since I was on vacation." That response was disappointing and dismissive. Overall, this is a nice hotel with a great pool, good breakfast, and mostly polite, helpful staff. But the lack of consistency and poor communication about noise disruptions seriously affected our stay. Had I known in advance about these issues—particularly the late-night events and limited dining/bar options—I would have chosen a different hotel."

"Beautiful location, that gaves you the choice of going to Modica itself, Syracuse, Ragusa, visiting the caves of Ispica, and if open again, the Necropos hikes at Pantalica. This agriturismo has it all: the wonderful roomy airconditioned Chamber, spotlessly cleaned every day (we were here 6 days), the royal swimming pool with jacuzzi and enough loungebeds and parasols for everyone, the wonderful staff that does its utmost to please you and know your preferences very quickly, abundant breakfast, great restaurant, quality wines, We booked through their OWN website!!! Wonderful people."

"We spent a few days in this resort as a family. It was well situated, lovely gardens, very clean rooms. Food was decent but not stellar, as were some of the staff who were at times brusque and seemed annoyed at our requests. A/C was inconsistent— some rooms were frigid while in others you could barely feel it was on. The pool was by far the nicest feature. The rooms were thoroughly cleaned and mopped every day and towels were replaced daily. The decor was a bit heavy and outdated and could use a remodeling. Overall the resort fit our needs for a nice family break very nicely. Thanks!"

"Fantastic stay. Don't let the low rate fool you. This hotel could be 3X the price. The breakfast was top notch (there was an extra charge but worth it). The relaxation spa treatment was nice but the hot tub was just lukewarm. The rooms and entire resort feel super clean. We enjoyed playing padel (40 euros for 4 people including ball and racket rentals) at their well maintained courts. The restaurant is fine dining and very good. Service was very nice. Overall a great experience and highly recommded"

"Excellent Boutique hotel in Modica. Rooms have all the comfort necessary to enable a very peaceful and rewarding stay. Good TV, Wifi, coffee machine, great bathrooms, and all the necessary comfort. Then there is the food. Those who wake up with a good appetite will not be disappointed for sure. Equally good are the lunches and the dinners, supported by a very good bar. The reception staff also go out of their way to help you with everything that you need. Also good relaxation and wellness facilities. and above all everything is spotlessly clean while Spa is immediately cleaned after every client's use. In conclusion- if one is seeking an excellent place in South East Sicily- especially for the Maltese who came to Sicily frequently, Then this is the place to choose. An added bonus is that the Hotel is surrounded by good shops."

"1This property is super. We are still enjoying our holiday here.We travel alot to Sicily and this was by far the best property we ever stayed in. The place is very well kept. Very clean, super serice, breakfast is amazing. The owner and his wife are very nice people. We enjoyed everything about this place. The pool is so refreshing. Rooms are nice and clean. Ac is very good. Restourant is delicious. Good pizza pasta and meat. Their olive oil is realy good. (In house) We will buy a bottle. Perfect stay. We will be back ! "The service at this hotel was appalling. Every time our group asked for even a water we were treated like we were making a huge request. The staff very obviously didn’t want to do any work. There was no restaraunt and the bar opened when it suited them. Rooms rarely cleaned. We booked a taxi through the hotel and were waiting outside for over 20 minutes to check again and realised they hadn’t even bothered to ring nor did they bother to inform us. Without doubt the worst hotel I’ve ever been in. Having seen a high rating I read through the reviews and think they may not be genuine as there are repeated phrases used throughout. Do not stay here."

"One night stay review. Modern design hotel, a bit clinical, cool looking. Friendly staff at reception and breakfast. Good selection at breakfast. Very nice and clean room, double bed with a good mattress, complete bathroom with a walk-inn shower with good water pressure. Right next to a railway line and a large bridge, but we did not suffer from that at all, it was very quiet at night. Good location. As said, very satisfying stay, thanks."

"My husband and I were on our way back to Pozzallo from Modica and stopped for lunch at the hotel's restaurant. Our server Rita was wonderful! The food was amazing!
