"The facilities are great and very clean, offering excellent value for money. The parking lot is also spacious, and what truly impressed me was the cafeteria and breakfast service. They offer complimentary drinks and coffee, and you can choose from a variety of dishes to suit your taste."

"It was so clean and nice that I think I made a good choice after reading the reviews. The friendliness of the staff seems to be so-so. It seems like other places do the same thing. I also liked the simple breakfast. Of course, I couldn't eat it because I was hungover from drinking late the night before, but after looking at it for a while, it was pretty good. Peace Square is close by, so we had dinner and enjoyed entertainment. The room temperature was just right and there was a styler, so I left my clothes there and lay down on the large bed to sleep comfortably and wake up."

"The sea view was nice and the surroundings were quiet, which was nice. The breakfast was also delicious. The rice noodle soup was the best... It's a little disappointing that there's no full-length mirror."

"View restaurant! Our room has a partial harbor view, but if you're lucky, you can get a better view! The room is clean and nice because it's newly built. Please note that there are no gowns. The swimming pool is currently under construction, so it's closed. The kiosk check-in is also convenient. (All guests must have ID) It's located in the old city center, so there's nowhere to go at night and it's quiet."

"We only stayed here for one day and it was pretty nice! The room was very clean along the bathroom that had great water pressure and the TV was a huge brand new Samsung model supporting Netflix! It really has the perfect location surrounded by many restaurants, convenient stores, bars ect. The only issue is that it’s next to a Lotte Mart MAXX, so if you’re driving parking may be an issue."

"I did it because there were many praises for cleanliness while searching, but it was an excellent choice. Everything is clean, friendly and satisfied It was good to be able to simply eat in the morning."

"The room was clean, and the ocean view from the veranda was really nice! I loved being able to make and drink capsule coffee. There's also a small outdoor pool on the rooftop, which would be perfect for a swim if you have the time. I wasn't able to enjoy it myself, but the view of the ocean toward Peace Square from the rooftop was beautiful. I'd love to stay here again next time I'm in Mokpo :)"

"Had a great stay here. Very clean, 3 minute walk from the Mokpo train station, and a newly opened Korean buffet downstairs (as well as a CU convenience store) made it great. Def will consider staying here again in the future."

"Although my room was small, it had everything I needed and was quiet and clean. I was particularly happy with the shower - plenty of hot water and great water pressure. Moreover, the front desk and housekeeping were all very professional and helpful. I chose the hotel because of its proximity to some of the places I wanted to visit and because it was close to the waterfront. I quite enjoyed my walks there mornings and evenings. It also turned out to be right across from Lotte Mart Maxx and within a 5-minute walk from both Daiso and Paris Baguette. Breakfast was included in the extremely affordable price. It was not gourmet but perfectly adequately and filling. If I ever return to Mokpo, I will certainly consider staying at Hound Hotel."
