Seaside Garden Lodge Mompiche

El hotel se encuentra en una excelente ubicacion donde la tranquilidad esta garantizada. Los duenos y gerentes son super gentiles. Comida de primera. El mar caliente y limpio. La playa grande, sin demasiada gente. El guia (Giani) recomendada para el tour a Portete, los manglares etc. De primera.

Si tu objetivo es descansar, no tener un “plan” dejarte llevar y vivir una estadía fuera de lo común a los servicios hoteleros tradicionales, este es el lugar. La playa absolutamente tranquila , limpia y paradisiaca. El lugar es super agradable, pequeño, con capacidad para pocos visitantes, las habitaciones son amplias, cómodas, eso si nada de aire acondicionado ni televisión y menos wii fii en las habitaciones, pero para nosotros estuvo muy bien! Porque es diferente! Y eso era lo que buscábamos, desconexión. La comida es de muy buena calidad, fresca, del día, la experiencia no es la usual, nada de bufet, todos los días te dan 3 opciones de comida incluyendo 1 vegetariana, igual para desayuno y cenas. las bebidas las de ley, agua, cerveza, jugos y cócteles. El personal super amable y pendiente de nuestras necesidades. Aldo, el alma de este lugar, fue muy amable al prestarnos ayuda con la insolación de mi esposa con remedios naturales. El es super amable, prudente, si quieres interactuar con él esta bien y te contará como llegó allí! Finalmente, llegar al lugar desde Mompiche es parte de la experiencia! Debes hacerlo en marea baja y conducir por la playa.

We wanted to see the Pacific coast of Ecuador and relax for a few days. This ecolodge was very private with beautiful views of the ocean. The hosts were wonderful and prepared delicious food so you didn’t need to go anywhere for meals, we could just relax and enjoy walks on the beach. The room was clean with a very comfortable queen size bed. The hosts helped us arrange a 3 hour boat trip out to some nearby islands—Jupiter with its huge sand bar and others that had protected mangrove forests. We couldn’t believe you could just drive on the beach to get to the lodge—but only when the tide was out. The hosts carefully listed the times you could travel so you wouldn’t be taken by the tide. We highly recommend this lodge and want to thank the hosts, Daniel and Gabriela for giving us such a lovely experience.

We booked a flight to Quito and rented a car to go straight to Mompiche, the drive took us about 3 to 4 hours, while enjoying the road trip, we made our plan to stay at the Seaside Garden Ecolodge, and right from the start, their team was very helpful. We arrived a bit late in the afternoon so they assisted us right through the town center to reach the Ecolodge. Driving on the Beach sand was certainly a very nice way to start of the holiday. We stayed the first day at the Lodge, which is a perfect place where to just relax, and enjoy the view and the nature, On the second day, we visited Mompiche and its surroundings, from an amazing beach with black sand to the other sea tours and a natural pool at the sea. Aldo and the Team of the Seaside made our stay just perfect helping us out with every single requirement and may say a great price as well.

We spend 4 days with my family (two teens). It was a great experience. A small hotel , few people and biosafety regulations in place. A beach basically for yourself and in front of you, internet access, cellular data available. The food was amazing and great environment. Clean and spacious rooms. Personnel really friendly. The only thing is that you have to plan ahead when are you coming and leaving because you have to cross a small estuary.
