Sahara Beach Aquapark Resort

10/10 would highly recommend. Everybody is so kind and respectful and the amount of effort what gets put into the resort is amazing. I will definitely be coming back here again!

Here’s my review of the hotel after visiting for the first time. Some people’s experience is obviously very different and people like what they like. We arrived at 11am and we were greeted by staff and taken in to the welcome room with all the other new guests to listen to a talk while they sorted everything out with passports etc. This took about an hour which in all honesty stressed me out with a 5 year old who just wanted to get in the pool though I do appreciate it’s necessary. They did give us an orange juice on arrival. Room was great. Not sure why people say they are small. I found them normal sized for a hotel. Lovely view of the pool. No fridge but had a kettle and coffee/tea. Air con was great. Can’t fault the cleaners they clean the room every day (tip if you want a lie in put the do not disturb sign on. They literally start knocking from 7am) The lifts to the rooms are horrific. Way too hot and only allow 5 people each time. Most the guests from other countries don’t care if you have been waiting they will push in front of you to get in. There is only 4 lifts per block (one of ours didn’t work for the week I was there) as well so depending on the time this can be really annoying. The main restaurant is fantastic. Did I like everything absolutely not. Did I find food I did. Yes. The food for breakfast is the same each day though they do throw in something different every few days. For example today they had a breakfast sandwich. The omelette lady is so lovely and makes omelette fresh for you. The croissants are also lovely. Lunch I didn’t go to the restaurant but instead had it on the beach- again similar foods such as pizza, chips, spaghetti bol, rice but all really nice. I also had lunch at the telegraph bar. Burgers chips and nuggets. They also do pizza or paninis. Not the best tasting but not horrible either. Dinner is again pretty much the same stuff all the time however they throw different things in every day. I’ve had jacket potatoes, fresh cooked tuna, chicken pie and mash for example. Plenty of salad. The pasta man is great and makes it how you like it if you want carbonara, spaghetti bol or arribata. Desserts aren’t the best but there is plenty of choice. I am a massive dessert fan and apart from the chocolate fountain with brownies one night, I’ve not enjoyed the vast majority. I’ve mostly ate melon (this is probably the only fruit that they have consistently) Drinks don’t taste of much alcohol. Doesn’t bother me as I’m not a massive day drinker really but don’t expect to be getting drunk. Thankfully we bought our own to have of a night. Beer/shandy is nice and the cokes etc are good for syrup based ones. There is three pools. The entertainment team are around one of them. They do activities all day. And dance at various points. We went to the foam party in the pool. It was fun but please be careful if you have young kids and stand further back. The over excited adults were jumping in

The rooms are spotless, and the staff are amazing. The poolside entertainment is fantastic, especially the daily dances. The food is delicious, with tons of options to choose from every day. The hotel shops are great too; we got some high-quality key rings and bracelets. We would absolutely come back to Sahara Beach—it's one of the best places we've ever been!

This hotel is definitely worth it! Beautiful beachfront location with beautiful gardens. Everything is very well maintained by the friendly staff. The food is good, everybody can find something they like to eat Our waiter, Mazri, was fantasic. There are tons of good quality sunbeds with thick blue mattresses & umbrellas. Bring your own beach towels. The Entertainment team work really hard ... also, a massive shout out to the "Crazy Horseman", don't know why he gets that nickname, because he's so friendly and helpful... definitely recommend doing the sunset horse riding along the beach. Don't hesitate to book this hotel. You will not be disappointed.
