We booked this holiday with EasyJet holidays, the hotel is advertised as a 5 star hotel, this hotel is at best a three star hotel. First impressions as you approach the hotel are good as is the reception area, we checked in and exchanged our Sterling into Denar and where told to keep the recipe as it would be needed to change any Denar back to Sterling when we checked out, this turned out not to be the case the reception informed us they where unable to change our surpluses Denar back to Sterling, unfortunately we had to hand it over to customs at the airport with a loss of approximately £60. Our room 404 which is an upgraded pool view room was to say the least very tired with furnishing well past its sell by date, this was also true through the rest of the hotel. The food in the restaurant was very good as was the bar service no complaints whatsoever. The pool area and beach has sun-beds much like the furnishing throughout the hotel have all seen better days, the mattresses for the beds where filthy many of which where ripped, the grassed area at the top end of the pool had glasses and rubbish which stayed uncollected for days, the toilet block for the pool area was filthy and had no soap dispenser or paper towels for the whole two weeks we visited, the beach bar looked awful in need of serious repair with the steps leading down to the beach collapsed. The final straw which broke the camels back was the ceiling hatch in the hallway of our room which collapsed as we entered our room, this narrowly missed my wife fortunately as it would have been a serious incident. Would I recommend this hotel, not in a million years, it should be advertised as a three star hotel.

Meilleur massage de toute ma vie au spa associé à l'hôtel ! Merci Hamhed !!!!! Cet espace spa de luxe, peu valorisé auprès des clients de l'hôtel, mérite vraiment le détour : architecture et décoration incroyables et personnel très attentif ! Bravo ! Faites + de pub !!!!

Un immense merci à Yoldez et Youssef du Royal Thalassa Monastir pour leur gentillesse et leur soutien si précieux pendant mon séjour. J’étais seul à l’hôtel et, suite à une blessure, leur aide a été tout simplement inestimable. Leur réactivité, leur disponibilité et leur bienveillance m’ont profondément touché. Dans une situation pas évidente, ils ont su me rassurer et m’accompagner avec un grand professionnalisme et beaucoup d’humanité. Merci du fond du cœur pour tout ce que vous avez fait — vous avez rendu ce séjour bien plus serein que je ne l’aurais imaginé.

Hôtel vétuste, pas digne d’un 5 étoiles - l’option chambre , vue sur mer n’est pas respectée et après réclamation, il m’a fallu changer 3fois de chambre - des amies ont eu une chambre au rdc ; la baie vitrée ainsi que la porte d’entrée ne se fermaient pas - miroir sale, rideaux tachés , joints noirs des murs , le bas des meubles très sales, le canapé taché , la poubelle ainsi que la robinetterie oxydés et de couleur bleue lavabo et baignoire non nettoyée avec une éponge - on trouve des boules de poussière et des cheveux après le passage du service de nettoyage car ils ne passent pas l’aspirateur - prise HS -pas de bouchon pour la baignoire et le bouchon bloqué du lavabo donc impossibilité d’évacuer l’eau - des personnes bourrés ds les couloirs des chambres réveillent les enfants qui pleurent et les personnes par des hurlements et des cris et malgré des appels téléphoniques, personne ne vient pour remédier à ce problème l’hôtel a t’il un service de sécurité ? - sachets de thé qui laissent beaucoup de poudre ds la tasse -la jalousie de l’animateur qui est irrespectueux envers Tito, le nouvel animateur - ils mettent la musique beaucoup trop fort et quand les clients se plaignent ils baissent le ton afin que l’on ne soient toujours pas satisfaits -restaurant Tunisien 🤣🤣🤣😂, couscous avec un œuf dur, sans merguez , parfois ni pois chiches et sans légumes etc - thé à la menthe avec un sachet -pas assez de lumière sauf ds la sdb -

Well what I can I say about this 5 star hotel… arrived at reception at 1pm, got told the room would not be ready until 3pm. We then finally got our room at 4.55pm and when we got to our room the paint fumes were horrific. We asked the reception if we could be moved and they told us no. To that we thought well let’s just make the most of the holiday it’s only paint fumes. We got unpacked and headed to the bar, we asked for 2 soft drinks and the waiter behind the bar in the main building was so rude (looks like the little boy from the movie inbetweeners) he laughed in my wife’s face for no reason and a gentlemen sitting at the bar said this barman is so rude and he had the same issue with his wife. After seeing past this we headed to reception to get a safe, the safe you have to pay for, however is refundable when you leave. After a short period of time we got the pool bar with a view of getting a drink, to our amazement they had no soft drinks,water or alcohol available and told us to head into the main bar for a drink but stay there to drink ot as you are not allowed glasses at pool side (fair comment). We decided then that we would go to the shop and buy soft drinks for the room, well that was another issue. The shop had no soft drinks,crisps etc, all the shop had was pottery,scarfs etc. we went for dinner around 7.30pm we where welcomed which was nice and asked if we wanted a drink. After 15-20 mins we where ready for another drink, well unless you tip the waiters you get nothing and the drinks are not made available for you to get them yourself. The food was ok, pasta,chicken,stewed beef and burgers,chips, veg and salad. I can honestly say this hotel is not 5 ⭐ and in my own opinion I would say it’s more of a 2⭐ hotel. Staff are rude but not all of them. Please read the reviews before attending this hotel, we are frequently at all inclusive hotels all over and this has been the worst hotel I have ever been to over the last 10-12 years. Also staff and managers have had several arguments with each other in front of the holiday makers. Also you are only allowed glasses of water and no bottles will be given to you unless you want to pay for them. Summary: Restaurant: dirty, with very little food choice Pool bar: always running out of drinks, glasses are always dirty. (Limited to 2 drinks per person and very small glasses) probably shy of one full drink at any other hotel. Pool: no issues. Beach: ok but with limited sun loungers. Rooms: very dated but big. Staff: Some are very rude but most are very pleasant (providing you tip them) Easy jet holiday rep: not interested in our complaints and stated to take up with hotel. However he was happy to take your money for booking excursions… Location: very secluded with no shops within walking distance. However there is taxis out front of the hotel for you to get. Overall rating of this hotel is: 3/10 I will never return to this hotel……..

Je suis venue pour une thalasso. 1000 merci à la doctoresse et son adjoint, ils m'ont apportés de vrais bons conseils. Une équipe de soigneurs très pro et bienveillante. Une piscine d'eau de mer fabuleuse. "autres plus, hotel magnifiquement décoré, tout est élégant, Chambre spacieuse, bien équipée,connexion, grande tv, frigo, bouilloire, sèche cheveux. Bouteille d'eau, serviettes, ménage tous les jours (merci top) 2 restaurants:, il y en a pour tous les goûts, fraîcheur et variétés des buffets : poisons, crustacés, plats locaux, légumes, (cf photos) , difficile de resister devant les nombreux desserts et fruits. Bref Félicitation au chef !!! Un grand merci ausi à l'équipe de l'hôtel toujours prête à vous faire plaisir. Je vous recommande à 300% , j'y reviendrai assurément !!! "Les moins ": franchement il faut être difficile pour ne pas aimer :):):)

Très bel hôtel. Chambre confortable. Une chance, nous avons bénéficié d’un surclassement. Merci beaucoup à Monsieur le directeur. La suite est exceptionnellement bien faite, spacieuse, vue mer, jacuzzi, salle de bain luxueuse. Une expérience amazing. L’hôtel est bord mer avec une grande piscine et trois autres piscines dont 2 chauffées. Le personnel est franchement agréable et tés souriant. La mer très belle. Le SPA moderne. Merci Chayma (a la réception du SPA), elle est vraiment Pro et Moez ( kine), d’une grande dextérité. Les tableaux sont magnifiques , vraiment des chefs d’œuvres. Cette hôtel marque la réussite de la Famille Zghal.

Относимся себя к любителям Туниса и почитателям талассо терапии. Хороший, спокойный отель, номерной фонд в порядке, бары и рестораны имеют что предложить,кормят очень вкусно. Интерьер отеля подчёркивает его солидность. Вот с территорией, так чтобы нагуляться не выйдет, маленькая, но зато с хорошим, ухоженным пляжем. На прогулку в Сусс или Монастир на такси примерно одинаково добираться по времени, не сложно, там и шоппинг и достопримечательности. Идеально подходит для любителей спокойного отдыха и спа.

Excellente expérience, l’accueil est parfait, les chambres sont spacieuses et très propres, aucun reproche à faire par rapport au buffet et la plage et à couper le souffle. L’ambiance est également au rdv. Vraiment rien a reprocher. Je recommande fortement

This hotel is great for a peaceful break, I would say it’s better for friends, couples or families with very young children as no activities for younger kids (this was okay for us as we went child free) Our room was recently refurbished to a good standard and they were replacing the carpets in the hall just before our departure. They are obviously preparing for the summer season. I would say it’s more of a 4 star than 5 star. The chambermaids work hard and cleaned the room perfectly, we quickly realised that they often return the following day, should a tip be left for them. The all inclusive food was fine, a bit same ish, not the best but not the worst. We managed to find something to eat every time though. The deserts were the best part 🤩 The restaurant staff make the experience more enjoyable in particular Monji. They all work extremely hard and for sure deserve a tip as their wages are very low. Chada the guest relation lady couldn’t do enough to help, she is a credit to the hotel. Maybe the manager of the inside piano bar could learn some customer service skills from her!! The poolside staff were very friendly and helpful. We visited Sousse by taxi, it’s easy to be ripped off to best to agree on a price before you drive off. We paid 30 Dina each way. The markets in sousse are good but close about 6.30/7 so best to go in the day. Tunisia is nice and I would go back, I don’t know if I would venture out of the hotel alone or with just women. I felt safe as my boyfriend was with me. You do get hassled a lot and pressured to purchase items. We went on a horse and cart which was the best part. Enjoy Tunisia 🇹🇳
