This old lake house sits on a hill at lakefront overlooking the greatest expanse of the lake from the living room and upper deck. It’s a short 11 mile drive to both Bloomington and Nashville Indiana. Bring your boat or use our kayaks at the house. Most of all bring your dog, we love dogs.
There is a shared dock. We keep a boat there and occasionally come to use it. The view and deck was worth every penny. Property was out dated, and very concerned with potential black mold in the boarded up sky light. Huge patch, either extreme dirt or black mold. Basement area needs modernization badly, probably would struggle getting kids to sleep down there.. Bring your own trash bags, owner is a big fan of recycling, which is great but takes to painful new levels, just read the note on the trash can, you’ll understand. Bathroom shower is RV size, bath tub looks inviting. The grounds are overgrown, not a big deal but could use a lot of love. Brand new windows were a nice touch. Price was right, the view was spectacular, I want to end this on a positive not but the place needs a lot of TLC and elbow grease.

Very pet friendly, right on the lake, half way between Nashville and Bloomington, shopping and restaurants easily accessible. The house was nice, quiet and perfect for a getaway.

The house had a perfect view of the lake from the living room and porch. Located close to Nashville IN for shopping. The host introduced herself right away and was available for any questions. The house needs some TLC, but the beds and the living room furniture was comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed, table was good for card playing and there was a restaurant in walking distance. One bedroom is upstairs and one is downstairs. Safe area for a girls weekend too.

Beautiful sunset views- we had a blast kayaking and fishing off the dock. Great place for lakeside fun! Bonus- the porthole inn makes a great Kentucky mule.

Our stay was amazing and everything we could have wished for for our first airbnb.The host was very nice and kind and there was so many things to do.The lake house had all the amenities we needed.Plenty of area,beds and rooms for me and my family to vacation and sleep.We couldnt be happier overall with the lakehouse and experience.5 out of 5 and we look forward to making this a vacation spot every year.

Quiet and quaint - Loves dogs!
We were looking for a last minute spot to get away from the city for the 4th of july weekend. The Lemon Lift cottage was perfect for a few nights. The upper deck was perfect for watching the fireworks and the dogs loved swimming off the dock. The house itself was old and has seen some days, but it's all you need for a weekend. Bring Off and yard fogger. The ticks were pretty bad.Check in was easy and the host was so sweet. She came by to welcome us and make sure we had eveything we need. The rental comes with use of a kayak and there's a charcoal grill on the lower patio.
