Villa with private pool and panoramic view in beautiful Val d'Orcia

The property was outstanding! All rooms were very clean and comfortable. The area was ideal for exploring Tuscany, and everything we wanted to do and see was within a 2 hour drive. Most of what we wanted to see and do was within 1 hour. The pool was well maintained and very refreshing. Each room had its own air conditioning unit, which allowed individuals to set their own comfort level. The kitchen was well equipped which allowed us to cook many meals using local ingredients from the farmers markets in the area. The largest grocery store (COOP) was a 20 minute drive and a smaller one about 5 minutes away. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful and answered all our questions and made recommendations for restaurants, wineries, and points of interest in the area.We spent one month at the villa and were extremely happy with our choice. We would HIGHLY recommend this villa for anyone traveling to the area. Peaceful getaway Enjoyed 10 relaxing days at Villa Montisi, a very clean and comfortable property with a lovely pool and garden. Also an excellent base to explore the local towns and stunning scenery (with Pienza, Montalcino, Montepulciano and Siena all within easy reach) and to enjoy the wonderful food and wine the region has to offer. Thoroughly recommend.
