Ruschmeyers Hotel

Nile and Carlton were super helpful at the bar! Property was recently renovated. Food and drink were amazing after a hazy, hot, and humid day. Recommend Frito Místo, oysters, shellfish tower, and lobster roll. My personal fav was the lobster pasta. So great to have a classic MTK staple reimagined.

This accommodation is hardly a hotel. It is more like an Airbnb in that there was no staff on site. Check in and out were done remotely via text. The place looks like a refurbished motel with small room spread out in a row and no office. Positives were the comfort of the bed and the quality of the bed and bath linens. Both the ******* and Ruschmeyer’s website have been changed since we booked the room.The information available when we made the reservation stated our room would have a porch. It didn't. The grounds look like a party location with tables, umbrellas, bean bags and hammocks, all in disarray with rubbish strewn about. Rubbish bin was overflowing. Virtually no flat surfaces for belongings, no luggage rack. No drinking glasses or hand soap in bathroom. The shower curtain was filthy & the soap rack fell down. The bathroom floor looked it hadn't been swept or mopped. Poor ventilation. Bathroom window sealed shut. The double-hung window was inoperable. There was a chemical smell in the room from a dish of solid air freshener that we placed outside the room. The de-humidifier hadn’t been emptied. The throw pillow on the bed had streaks of paint on it. We are experienced travelers and found this place a joke, a dirty joke.

We had an excellent experience at Ruschmeyer’s and were assisted by Brian multiple times throughout our planning process and our stay. The rooms were beautiful, location was exactly what we wanted, but what we remember most is gracious, generous hospitality. Our next visit to Montauk will include a stay here again, gladly.

Lovedddd my stay here!! Immediately walked into a party as they were filming there for Bravo. Nighttime was so fun, dancing on the tables and great food at the restaurant. Best way to start our weekend as Great atmosphere and young fun diverse vibe! The check in check out was chill and the service from the staff was great so responsive and accommodating !! Reasonably priced accommodations and gave a glamping vibe!! I recommend the Deluxe Double room for a stay with friends!!

Will definitely come back, we stayed in unit 17 at Ruschmeyers, they have an awesome cleaning crew that will accommodate you with anything you need. My unit was impecable, everything was very neat and clean. They welcome you with tasty snacks and water already placed in the unit. The Food from the restaurant was really good and not overpriced at all. In the evening is when this place really shines with all the beautiful lights they have and the music was amazing too . Over all I had a wonderful time will definitely come back.

clean fun Montauk spot- Don Jaguar was awesome - friendly staff -great music - close to town - really cool yard to chill out in - firepits at night are great way to relax- close to beach and restaurant food was on point - will be back for July 4th weekend for sure !
