Foresteria Il Giardino di Fontarronco

Werkelijk waar een paradijs. Prachtige mooie accommodatie van alle gemakken voorzien. Iedere dag komt de bakker langs met heerlijk vers brood. Heerlijk eten in het restaurant. Heerlijk zwembad. Fantastische omgeving. Een dagje Florence, Sienna is makkelijk te doen. Er wordt alles gedaan om het je naar de zin te maken. Ontzettend lieve mensen! Een echte aanrader om Toscane te ervaren!

Tutto molto bello. Luogo davvero suggestivo. Personale gentile. Ogni camera ha il suo bagno e poi l'enorme sala dove poter mangiare tutti insieme e stare insieme. Davvero incantevole. Grazie a Marian e Luca che sono stati sempre gentili e disponibili a rispondere a tutte le nostre necessità

We came to Foresteria for a wedding in June of 2023. This place was nothing short of amazing! It felt like we were living on the set of a movie or in a fairytale. The grounds are breathtaking, and maintained exceptionally well. We ate facing the orchard daily and watched the sunrise and set over the trees. The pool is walk right in warm and leaves no scent of chemicals anywhere. Theres truly nothing better than floating in the warm water listening to an owl hooting while gazing at the Italian countryside! My room was in the first building on the top floor and it felt like I was stepping back in time. Stone floors, beautiful fixtures and the bed…omg the bed! So comfortable we emailed and asked what brand then mattress was! And now for the most important part…the food and the staff. Both were out of this world. We never wanted for anything. The food was fresh, regional and delicious. I wish things in America tasted even half as good. The Nona in the kitchen really makes each meal with love. Friendly staff is an understatement! Each staff member took the time to ask our names and greeted us each time they saw us. Anything you could ask for or need they will make it happen. This trip was truly life changing and one I will never forget, largely in part due to the staff and accommodations Foresteria

It was an amazing and enchanted experience. The location was beautiful and unique. The staff was so friendly and kind. I slept like a baby on the most comfortable bed. I can go on forever saying all good things of my time spent here... but I won't have enough space. Thank you!!

When you imagine Tuscan countryside ripe with vineyards stretching to the horizon directly outside your livingroom sliding glass door, if you come to this tranquil oasis, Foresteria II Giradino, your dream will come true. Our extravagantly large room had deeply comfortable beds, air conditioning to counter the summer heat, & cool stone floors beneath our feet. As our loved ones married outside accompanied by the strings of a harp & song, the June breeze waved our hair & leaves on the vines in the distance behind us, one of the moment’s in your life that stops time with its beauty. Since there are so many pictures of the grounds & rooms on Trip Advisor, I’ll add some of the countryside walks about a quarter mile behind Foresteria. The exploration on bikes there for the taking at no separate charge, the welcoming staff who made you feel as if bringing you cappuccinos made to order, or anything else you wanted, was a joy for them, the IMPOSSIBLY DELECTABLE grilled vegetables in olio extra vergine di oliva Toscano, local artisan pastas & their il Pilazzo Chianti brought you to your knees in joy. I invite you to experience it yourself. In fact, Marian and her staff are so attentive & warm you almost want to tell them to go home for some rest, they give you such stellar care all day long. Marian even printed something for me I needed to read at our family member’s wedding we were there celebrating; she went the extra mile when she was already doing so much. And Marian let me use some practical toiletries she had on hand I needed as well! And they will join you for dancing on site at night’s end if you enjoy that! Marian and her team truly, madly, deeply made a space where you could relish quality time & build loving connections in an Italian paradise. I came for a family wedding & left with new friends who are becoming like extended family. Foresteria will recalibrate your sense of joy. While one can argue that perfection doesn’t exist in our human experience, Foresteria might alter that for the time you get to gaze in silence at the stars outside of Arezzo on the grounds of Foresteria. Abbiamo soggiornato in famiglia in un appartamentino con cucina nei pressi della piscina,  ingresso indipendente e circondato dal verde della struttura in occasione del matrimonio di amici. Un posto speciale dove si respira serenità immersi nel silenzio e nella  natura. Circondati dai campi di meleti e lontani dal traffico e dalle luci delle città e all'interno di un curato giardino tra tanti alberi e tipici cipressi. Ammirare le stelle al buio totale della notte in quel luogo era un vero spettacolo, come pochi ormai si possono ancora ammirare. Ottima l'attenzione del personle che dà  inportanza ai particolari con gran qualità e gentilezza verso tutti i clienti. Servizio a tavola celere e preciso. Le proposte dei piatti comprendevano ricette con scelte "senza lattosio" che mi hanno permesso di godere dell'ottima cucina locale finalmente senza dover rinunciare al gusto. Pasta fatta in casa  prodotti del posto. Ottimo il vino. I "cantucci" appena sfornati con tenere e dolci mandorle erano una vera  delizia! I proprietari sono stati davvero molto premurosi per tutto. Il nostro alloggio, in stile campagnolo antico, era fresco, pulito e confortevole e con  letti a rete molto comodi anche per i più  esigenti. Nel nostro appartamento abbiamo avuto  a disposizione l'aria condizionata. Gli omaggi in bagno erano di gran qualità con prodotti tipici della zona, un dettaglio che non ci è sfuggito. Tutti gli spazi sono molto ben curati anche fuori dalle camere e i grandi prati verdi e giardini sono pieni di fiori, in particolare ricchi di grandi bellissimi colorati e profumati roseti. Il piccolo parcheggio è vicinissimo  e gratuito oltre che ben ombreggiato. Anche la piscina è grande e molto comoda con divese bocchette per idromassaggi,  pochi gradini adatti anche a chi è meno agile nell'entrare e uscire con ampio spazio anche per accogliere  chi non intende nuotare , ma vuole solo rinfrescarsi o chiacchierare piacevolmente in acqua. Con noi, come sempre, c'era anche la nostra gatta che è rimasta tranquilla in camera al fresco. Un posto davvero magnifico condotto da persone deliziose e davvero ospitali e di cui conserviamo bellissimi ricordi. Un luogo in cui tornare certamente.
