Such a peaceful retreat. The garden views and mountain air are rejuvenating. The location is ideal—tucked away enough for quiet nights, but close to great restaurants and tours. Staff was helpful and made great recommendations.

A dream for birdwatchers! We saw hummingbirds, toucans, and even a motmot right outside our room. The hotel is very close to the cloud forest reserves and has easy access to local tours. The rooms are simple but very clean and well-maintained.

. Hotel Jardines de Monteverde offers a true Monteverde experience. It’s close to all the main attractions, yet it feels quiet and serene. Friendly staff, lovely landscaping, and a real rainforest vibe. Wonderful restaurant

The rooms were comfortable, and the breakfast each morning was delicious—especially with a view of the garden! So close to nature trails and wildlife. We saw monkeys and coatis just a few minutes from the hotel. Very nice swimming pool and gardens

The hotel is peaceful, with beautiful gardens and scenic views. It feels like you're sleeping in the middle of the jungle but with all the comforts of a modern hotel. It’s also just minutes away from the Monteverde Cloud Forest—highly recommend the night tour nearby.

Hotel Jardines de Monteverde is surrounded by lush greenery and the sounds of nature. We woke up to the calls of toucans and had coffee while watching mist roll over the trees. The rooms are clean and cozy, and the staff is incredibly friendly. Perfect location near the rainforest reserves

A very busy place when we were here during our tour. There were 2 groups staying and they were very full. The restaurant was kept hopping and reception tried hard to keep up with requests too. The hike into the centre for food and supplies was short, but crosses a valley. That makes it a hike of about 1km. There's a spot in the opposite direction for great sunset views. The room was quaint and rustic. It had a wooden balcony with tree branch accents, shaded by mature trees in the ravine below. The balcony had great bird spotting. The area has lots of things to see and do, so this was a welcome place to get back to for the night.
