"Everything is great, it's aparthotel, the area is good, a number of lighthouses. For hotel residents there is a separate kitchen clean, can be cooked. Panoramic exit on 11th floor. The room is large and comfortable. Everything is perfect"
"The hotel’s location is great and very close to the beach ,trail and shopping mall. The room is a bit small, it’s very clean. The hot water shower is powerful. The continental breakfast is simple but enough.Hotel staffs are very nice and helpful."
"Excellent location, friendly and helpful staff, clean and comfortable room and fast wifi. Perfect for a weekend getaway or business trip. I didn't try the breakfast but it looked like good value for money. Will definitely stay again."
"Decaying hotel and installations.
Needs repair/retrofit urgent.
The room was terrible: dirty and scratched walls, bed seemed to be recently used (although it seemed clean sheets) or was badly made.
The bathroom was old and the floor was dirty
the whole experience was a nightmare."
"The hotel room is clean and tidy, but the sound insulation is not very good. I live in a room with a sunny side on the seventh floor. There is a pigeon nest outside the window. The pigeons are cooing all night long!
The bathroom is relatively small and the service is pretty good. The restaurant on the first floor is large and has boiling water.
The swimming pool on the rooftop is nice but too cold and not constant temperature. The view of the sea from the rooftop is nice."
"Freundlicher Empfang und einfacher Check-in. Zimmer sauber und alles drin. Frühstück mit frischem Obst und frischem Saft, aber abgepackte Marmelade. Wir haben uns sicher gefühlt und würden wieder kommen!"
"I am very happy to live in this hotel in the new district of Montevideo. It is very comfortable to walk on the road. There is a wide seaside avenue nearby. The street is very clean and almost no police are seen, but the whole atmosphere is very safe and the people are very kind and kind."
"This hotel is located very close to the attractions of the Old City and Independence Square. The room is clean and tidy, with a refrigerator and an electric water heater. Breakfast is included in the room rate, and it is a very good breakfast. Although it's not right next to Xincheng Beach, the price/performance ratio is very good and it's really unbeatable. Check-in can be considered."

Amazing
BBryce van de LaarWe spent two nights in Alquimiste and we never wanted to leave! The guesthouse which is almost 100 years old is full of antique furniture, original artwork, and even has a lookout tower on the 4th floor boasting 360 views of the Carrasco neighborhood.
It is a 2 minute walk from the beach and very close to some of Montevideo’s most famous restaurants. Carolina and Mark are delightful and happy to help with anything.
The restaurant is lovely, and the breakfasts is a real treat. Hot croissants, freshly baked scones with marmalade and cream cheese, freshly squeezed orange juice, and beautifully plated granola we’re just some of our favorites.
Staying at Alquimiste, you really feel like you are apart of something special!
AAnonymous UserThe location is excellent, right by the sea, the front desk service is also very good, and I had a great time. The hot breakfast and juice are good, but the vegetables are a bit poor. Remember to live on the side facing the sea. The soundproofing is slightly poor and you can hear the curtains next door.
Overall: 4.8/5
Kk0sm0It's a hotel near the Independence Square in Montevideo, so I think it's a good place to stay for sightseeing purposes, but I have some points to worry about, so I'll point out that. First of all, the soundproofing is weak, not only can you hear the sounds and voices from the corridors and stairs, but also the sounds from the outside. From midnight to morning, I couldn't sleep easily and felt uncomfortable because I could hear the noise of people who were running EDM and making noise clearly. Next, the overall aging was progressing, and the water in the shower room on the upper part of the room was leaking little by little, but the lower part of the room was leaking. I put up with it because it was still a small amount, but I felt that I needed repair soon. Finally, it was nice to have a unique room and floor plan, but I was worried that the details were broken or not moved. As a hotel, I got the impression that it was fashionable and clean for the season, but there was something to worry about, so I think it's good to consider whether to stay based on that.
GGuest UserI didn't have any problems. Room like the photos, great location (I did a lot walking and buses were very close). Hotel restaurant also good to eat and save the night when you are tired to go out for dinner.
AAnonymous UserThere was a male waiter at the front desk who had a very poor service attitude. He looked discriminatory and contemptuous. On the first day when he checked in, he didn't pay any attention to anyone or talk. On the second day, he just had to wait 10 minutes to renew a room card, but it still didn't work. He talks very contemptuously.

MMister StephenAt first I didn't like the look of this hotel. There was graffiti outside and my room was cold. I spent most the night looking at more expensive hotels. The next day I was glad I didn't change to another hotel. The heater in the room eventually did its job. The location turned out not to be so bad. The breakfast was good. The desk staff were very helpful. It worked out well, but next time I would book a hotel near Pocitos.

888Tony88Radisson Montevideo Victoria Plaza Hotel is located at Plaza Independencia. It is within walking distance to Ciudad Vieja, museo Andes, Metropolitan Cathedral, and Solís Theatre. The hotel is situated about 45 minutes drive to Carrasco International Airport.
We stayed at Radisson Montevideo Victoria Plaza for 3 nights, and I must say that the services provided exceeded our expectations. From the customer service representatives at the reception, housekeeping, all the staff at breakfast and Arcadia restaurants did their best to make our stay very comfortable and felt welcomed.
The breakfast restaurant is located on the 25th floor overlooking the harbour and breakfast menu exceeded our expectations. There are a variety of croissants and pastries, scrambled eggs, bacon, fruits, yoghurt, and coffee.
The heated swimming pool and spas on the 6th floor are clean and it opens from 5.30am to 9.30pm. There is a casino inside the hotel and plenty of punters smoking outside the casino.
We were upgraded to a king suite room on the 11th floor. Unfortunately, the furniture in the room was obsolete, and the linen provided looked like 20 years old. The carpet in the room looked old and dirty.

GGuest UserAlthough the room is not big, it is very clean and tidy, and the front desk service is also very good. There are many restaurants and convenience stores nearby.
WWB2021A very good more upscale hotel in Montevideo. it's close to many transport options and breakfast was included as well.
The rooms were alright; but nothing that wasn't working.
The staff were super welcoming and warm, always attentive and smiling, especially at the front desk!

LLanaStar13The hotel is located right opposite the station. Very convenient, so chose. Comfortable bed, white skiing, what you wouldn't say about towels. Well, why don't hotels provide at least one small bottle of water? ! I had to go to the supermarket, too across the road. For breakfast you can say almost nothing. Toast bread, butter, jam, one kind of cut cheese and ham, coffee, milk, juice and mushrooms. There were no vegetables, no fruits, no yoghurt. Baking 2-3 the species is absolutely tasteless. Omlet is required. Otherwise it would still be hungry at all. It is possible to stay overnight, but breakfast is definitely not recommended to take.
