Aparthotel Adagio Montpellier Centre Comedie

we were told that we had no reservation When we arrived at the hotel we were told that we had no reservation. Our trip was a family trip with two children. We showed them the photocopy of the reservation, they were not satisfied and demanded that I show them the original email (on my mobile phone) and that I call my tour operator, which I did. Finally they put me up (after three hours at the hotel reception) in a hotel that did not have the characteristics I had chosen. The hotel in question was under construction (Novotel). The tour operator commented that the taxi journeys had to be paid for by the contracted hotel. The taxi driver told us that we had to pay for them ourselves. I am still waiting for reimbursement. It is terrible to arrive at a long booked hotel with two children and have no accommodation. I think this kind of overbooking practices should be highly punishable by law.

I had actually booked for the Ibis Styles, which shares a building with the Aparthotel Adagio, but I found when I got there I had been upgraded to the Aparthotel. It looks like it's aimed at someone who is staying for a while and wants to do a bit of self catering, as there was a little kitchenette in the room. While the room was nice and spacious for my purposes, as I was only staying one night, it seems a bit on the small size for something calling itself an "apartment". There was no sofa in the room. But anyway, for me, it did the job just fine. The hotel is just a few minutes' walk away from the train station, which is handy if you're arriving in Montpellier by train (as I was). It's also fairly well placed for the city centre, and there's no shortage of nice places to eat in a few short minutes' walk from the hotel. If you're really desperate, you can eat in the hotel, though the range of food was very limited, and looked like microwave ready meals rather than anything freshly prepared. Breakfast was OK though. Staff were perfectly pleasant and helpful. On the whole, no complaints.

Hôtel parfaitement situé dans la ville. Proche de tout mais dans petite rue tranquille. Service de parking à 17€/nuit. Des boissons et des quelques plats proposés. Appartement très agréable, il y a un torchon, une éponge, du liquide vaisselle et quelques pastilles pour lave vaisselle, pour celles et ceux qui , comme moi, se posaient la question. Au RDC, une cuisine collective aussi, un baby foot, livres et jeux de société. Un patio avec tables. La literie est extra ferme, personnellement, ça ne me convient pas, mais peut convenir à d'autres . Comme toujours dans cette chaîne hôtelière, un personnel pro et adorable, mais aussi toujours trop chaud à l'intérieur.

Une équipe jeune, sympathique et réactive vous accueille 😀. Mon appartement était prêt plus tôt que prévu. Excellente situation à 3mn à pied de la place de la Comédie, et de ses trams, 6,mn à pied de la gare, tous commerces et Office de tourisme à côté. Literie excellente, bons petits déjeuners. Propreté rien à redire. Petite cuisine avec l'essentiel pour préparer des repas simples. Laverie. Petit théâtre pour les enfants avec scène et petits fauteuils (super idée !) à la réception, jeux de sociéte, livres... Calme car une partie de l'immeuble occupée par des personnes âgées seules. Quelques couacs : problème d'eau chaude et/ou d'eau froide selon les appartements. J'ai du être relogée. Bien vérifier si tout fonctionne avant de vous installer. Problème aussi avec les clés qui se demagnetisent tout le temps. Heureusement le personnel est réactif.

As always Accor hotels do not disappoint. The apartment is spacious and well equipped for self catering. It is ideally situated close to shops, restaurants and the old town. There is a lovely communal courtyard to relax in as well as a communal lounge area with some games and a kitchen if you want to entertain friends. There is also a laundry which was very welcome after 4 weeks on the road and only hand washing. The staff are friendly and helpful. I don’t often score a 5/5 but this hotel ticks all the boxes.

Estuvimos alojados en el aparthotel 4 noches, 2 adultos y 1 niña. La ubicación del hotel no puede ser mejor, a 2 min caminando de la plaza de la Comedia, a 7min de la estación de tren. Las habitaciones son bastante amplias y bien distribuidas, la cama del dormitorio es grande y muy cómoda. La cocina bien equipada, lo único que nos faltó fue abridor de botellas. El desayuno de la cafetería es correcto, suficientemente variado. Un punto importante es el parking, ya que vinimos en coche y aparcar en la zona en pleno agosto sería muuuuy complicado. En fin, fue una estancia agradable, no hemos encontrado ninguna pega.
