Cedar Creek Lodging & RV Park

I’d totally stay at this park in our RV but we were coming through in our car and wanted a place to stay while we fished nearby. Limited to “pet friendly” options, we thought we give a tiny home a try versus staying in one of the shabby hotels in the area. There was only one pet friendly tiny home available (#4) so we booked it. Their other ones looked better online so maybe they are. We did expect rustic and it was. Very. No decor. The “blackout curtain” in the bath didn’t fit the window, and the one in the kitchen couldn’t really be opened (too stiff). The floor was pretty dirty. We kept our shoes on. The kitchenette was fine and functional enough. However there was a light fixture over the counter with no bulb. There was a small lamp sitting on the counter—also no bulb. The fridge and microwave were newer models and worked great. There was adequate cookware. There was dish soap but no sponge, dish towel or dish drainer. A 1/4 roll of paper towels and zero extra rolls. The trash had can a bag but no extra bags. Super annoying. Space wise, the bathroom was roomy, good sized shower (we didn’t use) but there is NO MIRROR!! What the heck. A guy can’t shave. I couldn’t fix my hair. I went to Walmart and picked one up to use. The mattresses were comfortable but the loft queen space was terrible. We couldn’t both sleep there as there was zero clearance so it was claustrophobic and hot. I’m 5’7” and laying in bed on my back with my size 8.5 feet pointed up, they touched the roof. Turning over in the night, my elbow smacked the ceiling. Not enough room to sit up except on the edge by the step. I have no idea how they change the sheets! The sheets were comfy, though. My husband had to sleep on the day bed. There is no other seating or place to set a drink near the day bed. If you stay here, pick a different tiny home. All said, I do not recommend this unit over a hotel room, even the no-name shabby ones nearby would be better.

Great glamping stay close to Black Canyon of the Gunnison. We really enjoyed the yurt we stayed in. The AC worked well. The customer service was great as well. The showers were good enough, and it was nice to have provided towels.

The property itself is nice considering the urban backdrop. The listing, however, is inaccurate and no one is willing to assume accountability: Tiny house 7 has only one bed, no coffee maker, and the tea kettle provided of useless as there is no stove. The sheets were uncomfortably stained. Also the advertised office hours listed are not correct so communication was done solely through text. The worst part was that after communicating these inaccuracies, we were offered a 20% refund. If the price reflected the quality of the location I wouldn't mind so much.

Codes provided didn't work took a hour to get into our Yert. also had to wait for bathroom code when in need of the restroom is very inconvenient especially after getting done with a long road trip. Bugs in bathroom.

Very lovely place to stay. The office hours leave much to be desired. But the tiny house ibstayed in was beautiful. Would definitely stay again

Didn’t give adequate instructions as to where my room was located, when I got to the property after a long day of travel there was no one in the office and the “after hours line” was not answered after multiple calls, until 9:30am the next day. Glad a random camper helped me find my room!
