Morogoro Hotel ★★★

"Did not enjoy the stay in this hotel at all. The reception staff were very cold and unhelpful. The room was unsanitary upon arrival. The swimming pool water was murky. However it was a good stop off point for us to drive to mikumi national park and the food in the restaurant was tasty (Indian curry)."

DAG HOTEL MOROGORO

"WARNING: this facility is NOT a hotel. This is not a safe facility for foreign travelers. We arrived in the morning and the reception area was filled with a group of highly intoxicated men, one who almost carelessly burned me with his cigarette. We asked to view the rooms. We were shown rooms where people were actively living in. We were asked to show our computers ( the customers!) To provide proof of our prepaid booking reservations. Thankfully our taxi had not left and graciously helped us find an actual hotel."
