Close to town, within 25 minutes of both Stowe and Smugglers Notch ski areas and very close to historic Route 100. Mike was awesome and super responsive. Great home base for the 4 of us to stay and play on our day trips. We stayed from Oct 4-7 here and then downsized to Killington because our kids left on the 7th. Highly recommend the Chalet. Enjoy

Great home! Large, Cozy, and perfect home base for skiing! Our group of 8, ages 11 to 53, had a wonderful time at the Kay Chalet, our home base for a 3-day ski trip. The house is much larger and roomier than it appears in the photos, and we really enjoyed how the more modernized basement contrasted with the nostalgic 70s-style decor of the main floor. The hosts stocked the house very well (including permanent and consumable products like toilet paper, detergent), so there was nothing we found ourselves missing. The roads leading to the house are well paved and the setting is lovely. On clear mornings, we even had views of Stowe/Mt. Mansfield out the large sliding windows! We would rent this home again!

Perfect Mountain Getaway The property was beautiful! Exactly as described and was the perfect location for our friends weekend. Not too far from Stowe for snowboarding & lots of shops and restaurants. The hosts left a basket of essentials and the home was well stocked with everything we could need, which was greatly appreciated! We truly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning!
