Wonderful hotel in the middle of town with very kind staff

The hotel was good overall, though the interior design was a bit unusual and took some getting used to. The staff were very friendly, and breakfast was good with a flexible à la carte selection. All in all, a solid stay.

We spent two days in Mossel Bay at Betty's Boutique Hotel as a family. The house is traditional English in the best sense of the word. There are many chic little touches that show that the owner and his family have realised a dream that they now want to share with their guests. We did love it so much. The location of the house is perfect – just 3 minutes from the water and the restaurants next ot the beach. Mossel Bay is a safe place with a growing population that is worth visiting for a few days. You will love it. Above all, Lewis, the owner, and his team are extremely supportive, which is more than unusual. They even drove us to a private park for a guided game drive after our rental car broke down. Wow – super nice and so matter-of-fact. We as a family would recommend the house under all circumstances. A home away from home. Enjoy the stay at Betty's Boutique hotel as we did.

Comfortable spacious rooms , large and firm bed, good shower, nice views from terrace. Secure parking available, also on road verge outside. Breakfast choices include avocado toast and eggs which is nice; the chilli oil was fiery. Quirky decoration style, home from home atmosphere, choice of guest lunge and bars with honesty system . About 5 minute drive to centre of town , easy walk down , but steep hill back up
