Chateau la Mothe du Barry

Vineyard stay Our host, Sandrine, upgraded our room as we were the only guests. The room was large and comfortable with direct access to the salon. The salon had a fridge, coffee maker and all the crockery/cutlery that we needed. Our breakfasts were delicious and filling with lots of local produce and homemade items. We really enjoyed the wines and learning about the history of the vineyard. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Ce château est très bien situé dans la région Entre Deux-Mers et à proximité de plusieurs vignobles dont ceux de St-Émilion. L’hôte Sandrine est super accueillante et fait tout pour s’assurer que le séjour soit très agréable. Elle prépare des petits dejeuners copieux et cuisinés maison. Elle partage sa passion pour la viniculture et répond à toutes nos questions. N’hésitez pas!

Exceptional establishment we stayed on the way to visit family in the Bordeaux region. The upscale chambre d’hôtes as it is called in French are very spacious and an out of this world showers along with many amenities such as high end fair trade coffee, Damann teas, and wine available for a glass in the fridge as well as the ability to peruse the great choices of the wines. This is a 9th generation family vineyard and the owners take tremendous pride with their workmanship as well as their care for each guests. Merci

A lovely 2 night stay hosted by the equally lovely Sandrine. Great quiet location within 15mins of St Emilion. Most enjoyed relaxing at the pool and eating a delicious breakfast prepared fresh each morning. Sandrine is very hospitable and lovely to talk to. The comfortable room (black and red room) has the best shower in the world. We will think back very fondly of our time here.
