Ideales Resort

We stayed in the 1 bed villa and it was perfect for us as a couple. We stayed in a larger villa with the children 11 years ago, so it was great to go back to the area we knew very well. The Villa had everyhting we needed, was very private and well equiped. It is really nicely decorated and laid out inside. Outside is very spacious, but could do with a larger table outside and perhaps more shade at both ends of the pool, we made do though. It was very hot when we arrived, the air conditioning is not brilliant we had to leav eit on all day to cool the room down, I sugges it needs a bigger heat exchange unit. We did report it and the engineer arrived quickly and made a slight difference. The Hot Water broke twice, but again, it dodn't spoil our stay, it is more of a positive that the team got straight on it and fixed the issue. The only negative issue was th eWiFi, this wouldn't normally be a concern, but I had some work to do and had to tether to my mobile hotspot, I would expect for such a cost that this would work.

We loved it here so much last year that we booked to come again & have had another fabulous stay. We love the privacy of the villa and the wonderful views. The staff were so helpful and the pool area was cleaned most days. We had a power cut one evening and Vivi was very responsive (it was an issue in the area that soon resolved). We hired a car to make it easy to explore the island. This time we went to the monastery at Agios Gerasimos and then on to Sami and Anti Samos beach. Another day we did a fishing trip from Katelios which was great. Also did a couple of lovely beach trips to Agios Thomas and Spartia. Top tip- take beach shoes to protect feet from stones and rocks. Ideales really is the perfect place to stay on this beautiful island and we will hopefully be back soon.

Another great holiday at Ideales. The location is fantastic - amazing views over the sea to Zakynthos, quite close to a local shop and several really good restaurants (particularly recommend Denis, Gefiri and Enastron); however we feel a car is essential as walking can be extremely hard in the heat. About 20 minutes from airport (where we pick up a car rental from Pefanis). Lidl about 15 minutes drive from villa. Good bread shop at junction of main road (5 minutes drive). Argostoli difficult to park, very busy. A lovely drive across the island to Sami. Wine tastings and tours. Ideales site and villa are very clean, villa cleaned and sheets and towels changed once a week. Gorgeous warm pool and shaded area. Very relaxing, we love it here and have already booked again for next year.

We stayed at villa Corali for a week, with family. What a brilliant week! The villa is beautiful and the pictures do not do it justice. It has been updated now and was perfect. Clean, well equipped and the pool and view are to die for. The outside is spacious and wonderful. All rooms are great size with lovely bathrooms. The location is excellent (we had a car) and we went into Trapezaki and ate in local eateries/used shop etc. We also found it good location for travelling around the island. Lila and the team were so helpful and kind and even sorted a birthday cake for my Mum. The cleaners and pool/gardeners worked so hard and it is spotless. We have visited Kefalonia many times but this was our favourite villa so far. Thank you Ideales Resort! we will be back for sure.....

Wonderful spacious house with pool and sea view. Well located for both beach and restaurants nearby. This was our third trip to the island as a family and we particularly enjoyed this comfortable house that we would like to book again. The accommodation was easy to find and communication with the host was easy and simple.

We have just had the most wonderful week staying at Nautilus villa. Everything was great. The villa is well equipped, stylishly furnished and has great views out to the Ionian Sea and Zante. It was a very hot week so we couldn’t sit out in the sun all day but there is a lovely shaded seating area and the outdoor dining area is also under a shade which is great. The pool was cleaned several times and we had cleaners mid week who replaced towels and changed the bed linen. Communication from Lila before we arrived was great, and during our stay we were looked after by Vivi, who made sure a couple of minor issues were promptly sorted. We walked to the Trapezaki restaurant for drinks one night & it was busy & friendly. Another night we walked to Enastron where the views were wonderful & the food was good. We hired a car so were able to easily explore the island. Myrtis beach is about an hours drive away. We got there for 9am to beat the crowds & it was well worth it. Also loved the small fishing village at Assos. More locally we had a morning on the beach at Lourdas, with plenty of lunch options. But our favourite beach is Agios Thomas. Small but sandy beach & the water is so clear. All in all we had a fabulous time and we have already booked again for next year!
