A gem in Mudgee We loved our cottage stay ! Everything we needed and more . Stacey was truly a fabulous host and went above beyond and very accommodating . Beautiful property and gardens makes for the perfect setting and great location . All the extra touches such as cheese board, wine and breakfast supplies were a great touch. We will definitely stay again !

This was our second time staying at Evanslea. This time we stayed in the Orchard Cottage. Evanslea is absolutely beautiful! Stacey the owner is so lovely, she remembered us from our last visit and messaged us the day before to see if we wanted anything and asked if we would like her to book us into the restaurant we enjoyed so much last time. Stacey is the ultimate host and she makes you feel so welcome and so special. The Orchard Cottage is stunning! The furnishings are exquisite and the cottage is so comfortable. The little touches everywhere make you feel so at home! There is a large spa with luxurious bath gel and the shower has two rain shower heads. There is wine and cheese waiting for you, the fire has been prepared and makes the cottage toasty warm, fresh sourdough, muesli, fresh milk, an array of tea and coffee, a pod machine, biscuits, crackers, port, eggs, bacon all await! The bed is so soft and warm, the pillows so soft and loads of fresh soft towels. Nothing has been overlooked. It is just such a special place. The Orchard Cottage is so private and overlooks a beautiful serene pond. It is like looking at a painting it is so beautiful! Thank you so much Stacey for making us feel so welcome and we simply cannot wait to visit again!

Stacey was an amazing host, even before we had arrived I felt welcomed and looking forward to our stay! All her suggestions on things to do in the area were just spot on. We absolutely loved The Orchard Cottage, very private, comfortable and the little kitchen was so well set up. The location is walking distance to the main part of town, but once you turn into the driveway to Evanslea you feel like you are in a completely secluded location. The lovely gardens and water features just make it so picturesque. We will absolutely be back! Thanks again!

Evanslea House is a beautiful, spacious house that is conveniently located within walking distance of town while providing a peaceful retreat on extensive manicured grounds. The hosts couldn't be more welcoming and accommodating. We arrived in the rain and they made us a beautiful fire and even picked up takeaway food for our cosy night in. The house is very well laid out for big groups, with the bedrooms set apart and several common areas to relax in. Everything is immaculate including the extensive grounds. We loved hearing the birds in the morning, swimming in the pool, walking into town along the river, watching Netflix with a fire going when it rained.

Stayed in their beautiful Cottage in the CBD, handy location and the cottage was beautifully decorated and well equipped with everything you might need. The host couldn't be more helpful, she communicated promptly and made sure we were happy. Stayed in winter the cottage had good heating so were kept toasty. Would highly recommend a stay here.
