Blackwood Valley Suites

What an absolute gem of a venue. This quaint little motel has 5 rooms overlooking a beautiful paddock with a fire pit and cows grazing in the background. The veranda leads you to the wooden door of your meticulously maintained suite. When I first walked inside I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. The decor was simply masterful. Everywhere I looked was another wow factor from the prints to the accent lighting. A large smart TV sits on the wall in front of a very comfy bed with extra pillows, and aside is a small wood fire and a comfy lounge with local magazines. Behind the bed is a fully equipped kitchenette with actual glass wine and champagne glasses, a multifunction microwave, electric grill and full size fridge. Good size bathroom with shower head and rain shower, both with lovely hot water and plenty of body wash, shampoo and conditioner. I honestly cannot fault this place and cannot wait to bring my partner here. Just bring your own food and drinks as there’s nothing within walking distance.

Loved everything about this property

Stayed overnight for a local wedding. Service and communication was amazing. Room was lovely, clean, warm and comfortable. Krystal was awesome and put toys in our room for our 2 year old and had our breakfast preferences ready the evening before. Can't fault it! Epic green hill and lake views while we had our brekky ♡ A tranquil getaway that won't be forgotten.

Lovely experience with welcoming hosts Brendan and Erwin. Our two night stay could not have been more perfect, we enjoyed exploring the local area with the help of our informative hosts. Our room was so delightful and comfortable it seemed a shame to leave as we contemplated a third night but time was not on our side. We will be back!!!

This lovely accommodation had my fussy mother, brother, sister-in-law and I raving about all the good points. We all wanted to extend another night, but alas they were all booked out! Where do I start with all the good points? Well, the photos are very accurate. When you settle in, you will find that Brendan was very particular with the vintage theme, whilst complementing it nicely with modern touches. The vintage touches are evident in the colour scheme of the living area as well as a fireplace, decorative cornices and ceiling centrepiece. The modern touches are clearly visible in the kitchen area and bathroom. I don't want to spoil it by detailing all the items that made an impression- some things should be a surprise. Thank you Brendan and partner for your exceptional hospitality.

What a beautiful stay! Comfortable, Clean, Relaxing and the nicest hosts! Our stay was last minute and we were accommodated immediately. I’m so glad we called and made a booking. Highly recommend and will absolutely stay again
