Astoria Hotel

The hotel was provided to us by the company as we were proceeding for the Visa work. The hotel staf, the reception executive was too generous and polite. They have provided each and everything we asked for going beyond their capacity. The breakfast was delicious. The environment of the hotel was peaceful and you get a good vibe when you enter into the hotel. The location of the hotel is superb and very near to Marinedrive so you can go by walk. Overall a fantastic experience, Thank you team Astoria for the wonderful hospitality.

Excellent staff members. Helpful and professional. Rooms are well maintained and cosy. Situated near Marine Drive and affordable too. Overall I had a great experience and will stay again when I visit. Breakfast spread was good and fresh too.

Good location, warm welcome and reception, ambient lobby. Cleanliness all over. Good room. Good house keeping and room service. Nice food, excellent restaurant interior, ambiance, courteous staff. Very decent hotel with good food. Wonderful location. Higher end of the spectrum of budget hotel, if one may say so. Clean rooms, room size is decent Has a small gym too which is well equipped Just next to churchgate station and the metro station coming up Marine Drive barely 500 mtrs away Very polite staff

I checked in on 28th April 2025 and checked out on 29th April 2025, and it was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The attitude of the person at the reception was absolutely unprofessional — it felt like they believed they had all the corporate bookings in the world and didn’t need to extend basic courtesy to individual guests. There was no warm welcome, no effort to assist, and certainly no hospitality. I paid ₹17,000 for a single night, and in return, there was no one to help with luggage, no valet parking, and a breakfast that was bland, cold, and poorly presented. It felt like they were just ticking boxes without actually caring about guest experience. The hotel interiors looked old and untouched — as if no renovation or maintenance had ever been done since the property first opened. Everything felt outdated and neglected. For the price charged, this place delivers nothing in terms of service, comfort, or care. Definitely not worth the money. Would not recommend.

Astoria Hotel turned out to be an excellent place, with extremely good food, efficient service and clean, spacious rooms. Chef Nitin deserved to be complimented, he is one of the best ever and he fulfilled every request without any fuss or difficulty. The restaurant waiter Govardhan also looked after us over breakfast, lunch and dinner with a great deal of care and efficiency. The room was much larger than I had expected in the heart of Mumbai. On the whole, a great experience to be there for four days.
