American Inn Express

I'm not sure what the bad reviews are about...we had an excellent one night stay on our way through and would be back in a heartbeat! I realized we were going to be arriving late and called the hotel to be sure someone knew we were still coming...the gentleman that answered was so kind and said he would be gone but our key would be waiting. He texted me a photo of where to find it and gave our room number. On arrival, the key was exactly where he said, we opened the door to possibly the cleanest room we've ever stayed in, and fell asleep within minutes. Comfortable beds, microwave and fridge in the room, coffee maker. Abundance of towels in the bathroom. Everything so clean. In the morning, the man I assume I talked to the night before was cleaning rooms...said good morning, and we were on our way. I don't think we've ever had an easier stay and if we're ever through Murdo again, this will be our stay!

Very basic accomodations, but clean. Nearby Covered Wagon had a decent breakfast and was also clean.I don't know why they make me use up a certain number of characters for a review, because there's nothing more to say.

This is obviously an older hotel that has had a makeover. Country/ ranch decor in keeping with the area. Very clean, quiet, and comfortable. No breakfast served, but there are restaurants close by. Would stay here again.
