The Victoria Inn

Nice character place in this very cute little town. Parking lot, simple but nicely done breakfast. Very friendly. Comfortable room. 24-hour dining room for guests to make tea or coffee etc

Very clean and friendly people

My husband and I stayed at The Victoria Inn for two nights. We had a fantastic stay! Check-in and Check-out was a breeze thanks to Margery. There was a delicious breakfast each morning with fresh fruit, pastries & breads, yogurt and oatmeal with toppings as well as tea, coffee & juices. There is an endless supply of yummy chocolate chip cookies and another snack. We had Room #9 and it was very comfortable, clean and spacious. Our room had a balcony which overlooked the restaurant below. Since the Inn is located in town, it’s nice to be able to walk around Murphys without having to drive. There are so many great restaurants and wineries in town. Check out Calaveras Big Trees State Park during your visit. Mercer Caverns is nearby as well. Everyone who worked at the Inn was helpful and very friendly. I would highly recommend staying at The Victoria Inn if you are visiting the area!

I just had to share about this absolutely delightful spot I stumbled upon recently. Imagine finding a hidden gem right in the heart of town – it's this incredibly charming cottage that feels like a wonderful escape. From the moment you arrive, you're surrounded by the most vibrant and beautiful flowers, and stepping inside, each room is a pure joy with its exquisite Victorian decor, truly transporting you to another era. Honestly, what made the experience even more special was the team there; they were so incredibly warm, welcoming, and helpful, going above and beyond to make everything perfect. And after a day of exploring, those beds were heavenly – I slept like a dream! Speaking of exploring, the location is brilliant; you've got tons of cute shops and boutiques just a short, pleasant walk away. Oh, and you absolutely can't miss the continental breakfast; it was absolutely delicious and the perfect way to kick off each day. Seriously, if you're ever looking for a unique and memorable getaway, I wholeheartedly recommend this place – it's an absolute must-visit!

My Husband and I stayed in The Doris Suite. The room was beautiful, the amenities were thoughtful and the friendly little touches that were everywhere adorned our stay. The staff at V Bistro were attentive and fun! We highly recommend The Victoria Inn!

The Victoria Inn is centrally located on Main Street, making it an enjoyable stay in Murphys. Being able to walk out for a stroll down Main Street any time of the day was great! The room was perfect and we enjoyed the complimentary breakfast. We're already planning on next trip back!

Great central location in downtown Murphys. Walkable to tasting room and restaurants. Room has a very vintage feel and is clean and quiet

We loved our stay at this beautiful home. We were in town for a wedding and this was a great location, we could walk to everything and the house was the perfect size for the 4 of us and offered all the amenities we needed. Highly recommend this home for your next stay!

We enjoyed our stay at the Victoria Inn in downtown Murphys. The Inn is centrally located and we took in the walking tour of the town while there. The room was clean, tidy and cool, with the AC helping to moderate the hot outside temperatures. Our midweek stay was quiet and we slept well. The breakfast the following morning was excellent, a great way to start the day. The staff too was excellent, friendly and very accommodating.
