Davinci Gorilla Lodge

Wir haben als kleine Reisegruppe leider nur eine Nacht in der Da Vinci Gorilla Lodge verbracht. Meine Lodge war sehr geräumig, geschmackvoll eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Besonders genossen habe ich das Kaminfeuer und die zwei Wärmflaschen im Bett. Es gibt WiFi sogar auf dem Zimmer. Das Abendmenue war sehr lecker. Das Personal sehr hilfsbereit und kompetent. Nach meinem Gorillatrekking musste ich noch auf meine Gruppe warten und wurde herzlich empfangen und umsorgt, obwohl wir schon ausgecheckt waren.

We had an absolutely wonderful time at Da Vinci Gorilla Lodge. The location was perfect for both Gorilla and Golden monkey trekking, making it incredibly convenient for our adventure. The lodges themselves were spacious and exceptionally comfortable, offering a relaxing retreat after our treks. The food was consistently delicious, and we were delighted to find that a tasty vegetarian option was always available, catering perfectly to our dietary needs. But the true highlight was the exceptional service and hospitality. Manager Henry was incredible. He always went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. His warm personality and genuine care for our experience made us feel right at home. The front-of-house and restaurant staff were fantastic, especially Joy, Divine, and Priscilla. Their friendly smiles and helpful attitudes made our dining experiences even more enjoyable. And last but certainly not least, the foot massages we received were absolute heaven. Alliance and Esther did an amazing job making us feel relaxed and rejuvenated after our treks. All in all a very enjoyable stay and we would recommend 100%. Sharon and Sandor

Thank you for your prompt Service especially Leonard and Sparky , Leonard he is hard working always his smile and I want to comeback again, and my son is coming in December with the guest because he is a tour operator. it is much appreciated your good services hot water and fire service was excellent . Great lodge close to gorillas with attentive and friendly staff and warm reception - especially from Sparky. And a special shout out to Devine who looked after us along with the team. Rooms spacious and well equipped with attractive gardens

Just a one night stay in one of the houses. The house is spacious with a living area, bed and separate bathroom. It also has a fireplace. Why, you would ask in warm Rwanda? Well, you are at an altitude of 2000 meters and it is cold here. The stone house contributes to that cold feeling. When we went for diner the staff lit it and even put a hot water bottle in our bed, which is needed. Staff is over-friendly again, and you are welcomed with the, for us now usual, warm towel, drink and briefing. Diner takes place on the top floor where it is cold as well, however you will get a stove placed next to the table, which is sufficient to keep you warn during the diner. Food quality is mediocre. Breakfast is ok.

We stayed here for 2 nights. It is in the Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda, where you can trek Golden Monkeys and Gorillas. Very nice hotel, friendly and competent staff, good restaurant (you choose from 2 options for starters, main course and dessert in advance, all the food we had was very good). Spacious rooms with a comfortable bed, the staff prepare a fire in the chimney and put a bed bottle in your bed while you have dinner, as the nights can get very cold. Can definitely recommend a stay here.
