كانت الإقامة في فندق شانغريلا الحصن بمسقط واحدة من أبرز ما ميز فترة إقامتنا في الشرق الأوسط. قررنا الذهاب للاحتفال بعيد ميلاد صديقتي وعمل الفريق معي بشكل استثنائي لتقديم تجربة لا تُنسى. كان الوصول إلى فندق شانغريلا تحديًا بعض الشيء ولا تأتي سيارات الأجرة رخيصة في عُمان. ورغم أنه لم يكن تحديًا، إلا أنني أتمنى أن يكون هناك خيار الاستلام والتوصيل للضيوف. كان الإفطار الشامل رائعًا وكان الطلب من القائمة يضمن بقاء كل ما تطلبه طازجًا. كان هناك خلط في طلبنا بسبب حاجز اللغة ولكن الطعام كان لا يزال رائعًا. كان الإفطار في الغرفة وخدمة الغرف من أبرز ما ميزنا حيث سمحت لك بالاستفادة الكاملة من الغرفة ومع وجود سخانات مدمجة في طاولة الطعام ضمنت بقاء الطعام ساخنًا. كانت القيمة مقابل المال لتناول الطعام في الغرفة مخيبة للآمال حيث جاء طلب البرجر والبطاطس المقلية مع كمية صغيرة من البطاطس المقلية، ومع ذلك تم إصلاح ذلك في طلبنا التالي. كان شاي بعد الظهر لذيذًا، وكان أبرز ما يميزه الجبن والبطيخ والكعك. كان كل شاي بعد الظهر مختلفًا وأبقى الحنك متحمسًا. كانت مشروبات الساعة السعيدة متضمنة أيضًا وكانت تأتي دائمًا مع مقبلات مفاجئة من المطعم. من حيث الإقامة، كانت مثالية. كان التصميم الداخلي والخارجي للفندق جميلًا وصوت المحيط يجعلك مسترخيًا طوال فترة الإقامة. أود أن أشير إلى وجود الكثير من الحياة البحرية على الشاطئ مما منعنا من السباحة في البحر حيث سمعنا الكثير عن الساحل العماني ولم يكن لدينا الكثير من الثقة في دورية الشاطئ ومنقذي الحياة هناك. لاحظنا أن بعضهم يلعبون على هواتفهم لكنهم كانوا سعداء دائمًا بمساعدتنا في التقاط صورة لنا الاثنين. أود أن أقترح نهجًا أكثر صراحة عندما يتعلق الأمر بما يمكن أن تتوقعه في البحر هناك. كانت صالة الزوار متاحة أيضًا مما يسمح لك بالاستفادة الكاملة من المرافق حتى تغادر لمغامرتك التالية.

十幾年來第三次入住，酒店維護得很好，除了用轉換插頭充電這事情有點彆扭，其他都非常好。

If you're visiting Muscat and not staying at Shangri-La Al Husn, you're truly missing out. This resort is nothing short of exceptional — from the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable. Every single staff member we encountered was warm, welcoming, and went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. A special mention to the incredible team at *Mahhara Beach* – they were super accommodating, friendly, and genuinely helpful. We can’t thank them enough for their incredible hospitality. They truly made our beach days extra special. We were fortunate to stay in one of the suite rooms, and it was absolutely to die for. The views of the sunset from our room were simply breathtaking – something we'll never forget. And as if that wasn't magical enough, we were lucky to witness the *release of turtle hatchlings* during our stay – a once-in-a-lifetime experience that added a beautiful touch to our trip.

We’ve literally returned from a 7 night stay at the beautiful hotel a week ago and have already booked a return experience for November 2025! We told staff we would be back and the memories we’ve brought home with us and wonderful experience has made us leave a part of our hearts here at the Shangri-La Al Husn. The hotel is meticulously maintained, spotlessly clean and every member of staff you encounter go above and beyond to make your stay a fabulous experience! The service is excellent as is the quality of food in the Sultanna restaurant. We stayed on a B&B basis simply because I don’t generally consume 3 courses at dinner. Highly recommend the 32 hour cooked beef and the wonderful lamb shoulder which fell apart and like velvet to eat. Breakfast had a great selection and chef also came to ask if there was anything we wanted preparing to let him know! Wonderful. We used the chi spa at the neighbouring hotel purely because we wanted an Asian massage which the spa in our hotel didn’t offer and it was a great experience! We also visited the piano bar in that hotel which is open from midnight, tasteful interior and good selection of cocktails etc on offer. It was Ramadan during our stay and it didn’t affect us really although missed a little wine or beer at lunch time at the beach restaurant. Dress modestly and respectfully at this hotel and whilst out and about. You can wear a bikini at the beach or a swimsuit. Loved the idea of afternoon tea each day - we only sampled once and it was a first class experience only for me it was in the middle of the afternoon at 3.30 pm which if you’ve been in the beach or by the pool you needed to return to your room to shower and change to be respectful to others. Loved the pre dinner drinks and canapés, popular with all the guests, some music whilst enjoying or a band playing would be great only I believe this was not possible during Ramadan so looking forward to a different experience in November. Loved kayaking in the sea and also the cool box with water and juice and the tiny bottle of Evian spray to keep your face cool! The concierge assisted with booking a driver to take us to the mosque and we also enjoyed the boat trip to see dolphins, highly recommend - go for the early trip. Simply perfect, stunning location so pleased we are returning in a few months, cannot wait and am hopeful the hotel will grant our request for the same room please 1364.

This hotel is incredible. The staff remember your names at meal times, the added touch of an ice bucket by the pool with cool water, juice and Evian cooling spray is great! Even the standard rooms look out onto the pool and are spacious and well appointed. The free mini bar stocked with Fererro roches is great. Narayan at the pool is a real asset to the team and he is fab! Would not hesitate to stay here again!

Il nostro viaggio in Oman non avrebbe potuto iniziare meglio nonostante la stanchezza per la notte in aereo nel vedere tanta bellezza l'entusiasmo è alle stelle! Accolti da personale gentilissimo e simpatico ci viene subito assegnata la camera di tipologia superiore sorpresa davvero graditissima. Tutto è perfetto gli arredi, gli spazi comuni, la pulizia, il cibo niente potrebbe essere migliorato. Durante il soggiorno ci siamo sentiti coccolati, immersi in un luogo di grande fascino, la splendida spiaggia privata con i gazebo è davvero il top. Ci siamo congedati davvero a malincuore ma con l'intenzione di tornare per più giorni Grazie Shangri-La Al Husn Resort!

Das Al Husn Hotel war eine gute Wahl für unseren Aufenthalt in Muscat Oman für entspannte Tage. Die Lage, das Gebäude und der Strand sind sehr schön. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und professionell. Das Frühstück und die Speisen in den Restaurants sind ebenfalls von sehr guter Qualität. Das letzte Mal war ich 2007 im Eröffnungsjahr im Al Husn und ausser dass der Strandbereich etwas verändert wurde habe ich nur gute Entwicklungen erkannt. Ein sehr angenehmes Hotel mit tollem Service das ich empfehlen kann.

Wonderful hotel, staff are amazing and so kind and attentive. Wherever you eat, the quality really is outstanding, so much choice and variety. Pool or beach, lifeguards always on hand, as are the support staff, always there with a smile and chat but never intrusive.
