Ramada by Wyndham Mussoorie Mall Road

We had a most unforgettable culinary experience here. At our request, the chef prepared a "Pahadi Thali" with various items of the local cuisine, with ingredients endemic to the region such as jhakia (mountain mustard), bichhu ghas (stinging nettle) and jhangore (a type of local millet). This was truly the highlight of my trip. In general the staff were unfailingly polite, warm and friendly, and happy to provide advice when asked. The location of the hotel is very convenient to the Mall Road. However be warned: if you come in a hired car, you will not be allowed to drive into the hotel, and will instead have to either walk or take the hotel shuttle from the "Picture Palace" entrance.

Here are the major issues with this property: 1) Like any other hotel on the Mall Road, you can't get to the property in a cab. You must either walk to the property from the Mall Road entrance or call the hotel to send their car to the Mall Road entrance. Being unable to take a car to the hotel is primarily a bigger problem for any traveler with difficulty walking. The porters carried our luggage from the Mall Road entrance to the hotel. Hiring the porters is your responsibility, by the way. 2) There is no elevator or lift for the second floor. You have to climb stairs to get to the second floor. Anyone with problems with climbing upstairs should not book any room on the second floor. 3) The gym was a joke. Two of four machines were not working at all, and one was in a bad shape. 4) The hotel has one restaurant. The breakfast was good, but the lunch and dinner menus were quite limited, and the food was of average quality. 5) The restaurant plays loud music during dinner, usually from 9.30 pm onwards. This can be pretty disruptive for the hotel guests.

I had visited this property with my wife and 5 month LO. We stayed there for 3 nights and the service and the stay was impeccable . The staff were very warm and welcoming especially Tanya and Paridihi. The stay excedded our expectations in terms of location, sevice and amenities. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking to stay in Mussoorie

Very good hotel on Mall Road. Excellent location and staff is extremely helpful special mentioned to Paridhi and Tanya thanks alot for your kind service and special attention. Take Ground floor valley those are best . Good Food quality . Only one thing that you need to get down at barrecate and there car will come n take you and its on mall road cars are not allowed

We had an excellent stay at Ramada Mussoorie. It was a first trip to Mussoorie and we are happy we chose hotel near Mall road and no doubt it's a beautiful heritage property.seems 20-30 years old. They have charming lawn area outside. Food quality is amazing.their Housekeeping service is great. Front desk staff is always smiling and helpful.
