Ela Boutique Hotel & Spa

A real scam. I made a reservation trough booking in January to a couple of days in June. The hotel charged on the credit card the total amount by the end of January. At May 17 I received a message from booking - the hotel cancelled the payed reservation without further explanations and without prompt refund (I have to wait until 30 days). If you´re going to Mykonos, choose another place to stay. Avoid unpleasant surprise.

We had a perfect time at ELA Boutique Hotel & Spa. Very clean , very friendly the staff…unforgettable experience!! We will definitely be back. Beach is very close and the hotel was able to book a 600cc ATV for us.

The hotel manager was extremely rude and acted as if he didn't care for us at all. We were a group of girls and he was a classic bully. Kept saying that every issue we had wasn't his fault that that he didn't have anything to do with it. I've witnessed him being extremely rude with other guests and more importantly: with his staff. He screamed at the bartender to rush with something, and almost made one of the cleaning staff members cry. He never told me his full name but I saw it on instagram: Kim Diamantopoulos. He's pure evil.

L’hôtel est vraiment charmant, bien décoré avec de belles chambres. Nous avions une suite avec une terrasse face à la mer, magnifique. Les salles de bains sont propres, mais il manque une paroi à la douche, ce qui est très inconfortable car le sol est vite infondé. Nos chambres étaient faites très tardivement, parfois 1 19h ! Alors même que nous rentrions d’une journée d’excursion ou de plage. Une journée sur les 5 passés à l’hôtel la chambre n’a pas été faite. Il y a très peu de chambre, 8 environ. Incompréhensible que les chambres ne soient pas faites. La piscine est très belle. Les transats très agréables, le jardin magnifique. Le personnel de la piscine est très très gentil et serviable. Aux petits soins. Un grand merci à eux. Le petit déjeuner… j’ai lu dans les commentaires « délicieux »… peut être que ma semaine était la mauvaise semaine : très bon café, jus d’orange concentré, biscotte et pain de mie, quelques fruits en morceaux, fromage blanc, omelette et quelques céréales. C’est très simple. Il manquerait bien des spécialités grecques, du pains et quelques viennoiseries, du beurre, de la bonnes confitures et quelques crudités peut être. 2 responsables: une dame et un monsieur. La dame était très très désagréable, ou dans ses bons jours impolie. Pas de bonjour quand elle passe devant, aïe aïe aïe … elle n’est pas faite pour ce travail. Et un accueil déplorable . Le monsieur lui plus aimable. Et enfin à 8km de Mykonos. Nécessite d’être motorisé. En synthèse : oui je conseille quand même. Mais j’espère que des choses seront faites pour améliorer la gestion de ce très bel hôtel.

This was probably the worst hotel experience which I have had. On our first day we were unable to check in until over 3 hours after we were told the rooms would be ready upon arriving at the hotel late morning. Then there was a mix up with the rooms, we had booked a 4 person and a 2 person room but the hotel didn’t initially provide us with the 4 person room, with the receptionist, Mirella, arguing with us and telling us that we had booked two three person rooms (this was incorrect and she knew it). What then culminated was us (all six girls) being moved around various different rooms during our three day stay. When we were out in Mykonos town on the first night the hotel staff entered one of our rooms without permission and removed all of the girls’ things and put them into our other room as they had put the girls who should have been in the four bed room into a three bed room instead which had actually been booked by other travellers. When the girls’ things were moved in our absence one of their all saints purses went missing, along with a double travel adapter which were never returned to us. When our friend asked Mirella about this several times and asked her politely to locate the items she was spoken to in an incredibly rude, patronising and obnoxious tone by her. We were also overcharged for drinks which some of the girls had at the bar one night. One of the girls had 4 small Moët champagnes and Mirella tried to argue that (because the bar had been unmanned at the time) she had 8 small Moët champagnes instead as well as 10 beers between the group (this was wrong, the group had two beers and this is what we were charged for when we vacated the hotel). Mirella and one of the hotel owners said that they had cctv imagery of this which apparently also showed my friend and I (who were in bed at a different room at this time) there too. We knew that this was a lie so we asked to see the cctv, which we were never shown. The girls said that were also initially told by one of the hotel owners that the Moët champagnes were €20 a bottle but then on check out we were charged €40 a bottle instead. On the night when the girls were drinking the champagne they were doing so with some guys in the room next door to them and they later told our friend after check out that they too had been charged for 4 small Moët champagnes so the hotel seem to have double charged for these. Also on our first day we ordered a carbonara and a prawn pasta and had to wait around two hours for the food to arrive. We were told about an hour after ordering when we asked how long the food would be that the staff had to go to the shop to get ingredients. Had they told us this at the time we would not have ordered it. They didn’t seem to know what our issue was about this lack of communication. Then when the food arrived we were met with three bland carbonaras which was not what we ordered. We picked at two of the carbonaras because we were starving and told Mirella that this is not
