We stayed at the Nimbus Lumen in May 2024 and everything about the stay was exceptional. This is a small hotel, with about 10 rooms that is attached to My Aktis hotel which is 200m down the road. It is a lovely stroll downhill and if you don't feel like walking they have drivers contactable to take you to and from each hotel, which is fabulous when you don't want to walk in the hot midday sun. Everything at this hotel is done via WhatsApp which is fab. The staff at this hotel were exceptional, there is not one thing that I could fault about them. From the moment we arrived there was nothing that they could do to make us feel more welcome, from preparing a map of best spots on the island and helping us with travel. Miss Ana cleaned our room everyday and was just the sweetest lady. The views from Nimbus Lumen are stunning, the private pool was cleaned regularly and gave us the best mornings in the sun. The reception staff were so lovely, if you are into wine tasting or water sports they are more than happy to help you book an excursion and ensure that you get there in one piece. They also have transfers that can pick you up late in the old town for a fee, but is deffo worth it for the ease as Mykonos Town tends to get super busy in the evenings. One thing to note is that you cannot have room service or order drinks to the Nimbus Lumen hotel, simply due to the hills and drivers. You can however order drinks from My Aktis and take them with you. The breakfast exceeded our expectations as the menu offered a wide variety of food, drinks and you could order something different everyday. It is not a typical buffet but a sit down menu, you are served a basket of pasteries before ordering two courses from a selection of sweet and savoury options. Our favourites were the french toast and the greek yoghurt with honey. The drinks selection was vast, from iced coffees to english tea with fresh honey. We also had dinner one night as well as snacks throughout the day which did not disappoint. The cockatil menu is extensive and you must try their chocolate tequila! The pool area at My Atkis does get busy, but it really screams luxury and we were always able to get a sun lounger. Alternatively there is a private beach if you are looking for something quieter. Do note that it is down a steep staircase and can be quite rocky, so bring beach shoes to avoid slipping. The location of the hotel is about a 15/20 minute drive from Mykonos Old Town which is easy to get to by transfer or via bus (the bus stop is a short walk through a beach club at the end of Super Paradise Beach and cost us about 5 euros one way). We came just before peak season and so the bus times were about once every hour, but there are a great selection of beach bars for a drink whilst waiting. There is also a private route for hotel stayers to reach Super Paradise Beach in a matter of minutes, make sure to ask about this at reception. I booked the Nimbus for an August trip with friends. Definitely, a lovely hotel near Super Paradise Beach. The staff was very welcoming, and check-in was very smooth. The hotel rooml was modern with a spa overlooking the whole bay. The main perk of the hotel is that you can access the facilities of the other property down the road, the Nimbus Atkis. This sister property has a fantastic pool and a lovely restaurant, spa and gym. Moreover, a driver will bring you up and down from the properties so you don't have to walk. Definitely, it is a good value hotel with 5-star facilities.

As mentioned in the other review, Nimbus Lumen is absolutely fantastic. We cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay. The staff was top notch! We received one of the best spa treatments at the main property Nimbus Mykonos. Special shout out to Antoinis the spa manager. Fantastic massage and was also super friendly and helpful. The breakfast at My Nimbus Atkis was some of the best food we had while on the island. Also special shout out to Nikita who served us one day. He recommended a beach that was one of the best beaches we have ever been too. Would highly recommend!!!

Where to start with this new lovely Nimbus poperty… First of all it needs to be understood, that „Lumen“ consists of 10 appartments/ rooms which are located about 50 meters sea level higher, above the other Nimbus hotel „My Aktis“. This being said, „My Aktis“ remains the main hub of your holiday, even if staying at „Lumen“, as e.g. all meals will be served there as well as other facilities (main pool, gymn, beach, etc.) of „My Aktis“ can be used. „Lumen“ therefore mainly acts as the isolated sleeping option, which we really appreciated as it provides quiteness and comfort on a next level. The „Lumen“ appartments are spacious and offer fantastic sea views from the lovely balconies each having a shared pool access or single jacuzzi. We really felt like being in an eagles nest, where you can oberve the overall breathtaking Super Paradise Bay. Again the views from „Lumen“ are simply magnificient and we already plan to come back again in September this year. The biggest value of the two Nimbus properties at Super Paradise beach is surely the staff. Everybody was working hard to fullfill the hotel guests demands and especially the restaurant/ pool team is outstanding and kind. They gave us the feeling to be part of the Nimbus family already after the first 1-2 days. This team is also very entertaining which makes your stay unforgettable (Power Out!). Their entertainment quality is top class and some of them should really think about a professional singing career :-) Nimbus should be really proud to have this kind of dedicated staff giving all their effort to the guests. In addition it is worth mentioning that everyhing else at Super Paradise Beach/ Mykonos Island is top-class. We are really obset being back now in Germany and miss the daily breakfast including it‘s fantastic views from the terrace and the lovely Nimbus staff. Hotel stupendo! Pulizia, cordialità e cortesia, il tutto incorniciato da una vista magica sulla spiaggia super paradise! La spiaggia raggiungibile a piedi a 10 minuti. La jacuzzi in balcone con vista mare rende l’ esperienza ancora più unica. Consigliatissimo.
