Holiday Pavilion Resort on the Boardwalk

The only issue I had really was that there was a dead waterbug on the floor as we walked in. Other than that, all was decent.

Nice location, but poor service. Our bathtub was clogged and when I called the front desk they said I’d have to wait until the next day to have it looked at because I called too late. No one showed up to look at it the next day, I had to stop a housekeeper in the hallway. Thank goodness she was able to get someone up to look at it. I have 3 kids and it was a lot to deal with the sand and salt water and no being able to shower for 48 hours. We ended up checking out a day early just because of the inconvenience.

Had a wonderful time during my stay. Walking distance to a lot of attractions, shops, restaurants. Room was clean and no bugs. Nice indoor, outdoor pools, lazy river, and jacuzzi. Plenty of lounge chairs and outdoor space.

Habitaciones anticuadas. Necesitan actualización. Personal del área de front desk poco empatico. Solicite un upgrade de la habitación principalmente por una mejor vista , ya que la habitación que me asignaron fue en un primer piso y yo pagué por una habitación oceanfront. Fue desagradable estar en un balcón con la vista de un gazebo donde los huéspedes se reúnen y hacen parrillada. Hab 139. Favor de categorizar correctamente la línea de habitaciónes. No crear falsas expectativas. Es una habitación garden view. Le indiqué al personal del front desk que estaba dispuesta a pagar adicional por cambiar de habitación. Su respuesta fue que si no me gustaba la habitación que me cambiara de hotel y reclamara a expedía. Cambiar de hotel no era una opción para mi, ni tampoco una respuesta adecuada aún cuando el hotel estuviera vendido. Siempre hay cancelaciones principalmente en ese fin de semana que era lluvioso y no había ningún evento en la ciudad. Solo esperaba comprensión y que por lo menos demostrara la intención de ayudarme. El personal necesita adiestramiento en servicio al cliente ante estas situaciones. Mostrar preocupación genuina y comprensión por las necedades de los huéspedes. Sus palabras deben ser amables y empaticas. Este hotel no representa la marca holiday inn. Holiday inn debe exigirle adiestramiento al personal, en programas tales como people notice y Stay Real. Positivo: buena localización cerca de todas las atracciones principales. Negativo: habitación anticuada, nevera fuera de la cocina, baño incómodo puerta mal ubicada.

This hotel needs to be tore down and put up a modern facility. This places smells bad, dirty no complimentary breakfast despite almost $400 a night. And had almost no amenities. Im cutting my vacation short because I won't stay another night here. Im pretty sure they won't let this review see the lite of day. Avoid this place at all costs, dont waste your money!

Hotel was very clean and the staff was very friendly. The rooms were nice but small and the shower area was very tight. The area was nice, and it was safe. Parking was easy. Walking distance to plenty of bars and restaurants. The pool area was a little cramped. Not a 5 star but very good for the price.
