Terrible experience to say the least, especially with the services provided and the responsiveness of the hotel staff was pathetic. Apparently, the rooms that I had booked were not "available", hence as per them they provided an "upgrade" which turned out to be just a cover up. Out of 2 rooms with a double bed, one "upgraded" room had a twin bed which was given on time. The other room was not ready and we had to wait until 3 pm for a 2 pm check in. Secondly, the room key card was not working properly, it took ages to open the door & it was not user friendly. Thirdly, the AC was pathetic in the room, it was centralised & none of the functions can be controlled from the room except temperature. It took more than 2 hrs or so for the room to be cooled down. Also, I took a package which had add on services like early check in, late check out, 10% off on F&B, etc. I would recommend not to pay extra for this package, it is useless as the hotel folks don't even care about it. I had requested for a slightly late check out until 2 pm but they denied and gave time till 1 pm max. But when I came back from sight seeing at 12.40, I was shocked to see they had cleared my luggage from the room without even informing or asking me. To which they replied that the check out time is 12 pm and hence cleared the rooms. Firstly, the check in was late by an hour & when it was already discussed about 1 pm check out, they didn't even check with us. Two staffs at the reception, Chitra & Swati were snobbish & careless in terms of customer handling. They had unconvincing answers to all the complaints raised but not even once they apologized for the downgraded services provided. Apparently, we never got an "upgrade", it was just some shoddy cover up for their errors. I would never visit this hotel ever again & would recommend others reading this review to check other hotels before finalizing this one. The only plus point was the restaurant food, it was tasty & well prepared!
